[Anyaila's Fine Clothing, Sales Floor]
Shelves line the walls, filled with lengths of fabric in a wide range of colors and materials. The wooden floor is littered with scraps of material and discarded bits of thread around the low stool where the seamstress works. Above it all, a round shoemaker's lamp casts a steady light over the area. You also see a dressmaker's dummy with some stuff on it, a battered old wicker mannequin with some stuff on it, and a long wooden spindle with some stuff on it.

Our sarongs may be worn in a variety of ways, beside the traditional hip-wrap skirt. Folded in half, the fabrics make excellent shawls, loincloths or short skirts. Unfolded, they make a dress, a headdress as well as the traditional sarong. I'm sure you'll find your own way to wear these attractive fabrics as well. |
