Corsairs are found in the pirate city of Enclave on the island of Hara'jaal because that is where they take shore leave. There are four types of corsair, though they all fight the same: talan, tasia, telgi, and hara.

While fighting a corsair it will occassionally look for a guard to have you arrested.

Description

You see a talan/tasia/telgi/hara corsair.
The talan/tasia/telgi/hara corsair is in good shape.
It is wearing a red/blue/green/black sash, a leather brigandine.
It is carrying a cutlass.

The corsair is dressed much like any sailor would be after many long days at sea. He appears happy to be on shore leave. The red/blue/green/black sash he is wearing is an indicator of which ocean sailing clan the corsair belongs to.

Red Sash: talan corsair
Blue Sash: tasia corsair
Green Sash: telgi corsair
Black Sash: hara corsair

According to The Gamgweth Dictionary talan means red, tasia means blue, telgi means green, and hara means black.

The earth around the tasia corsair seems to awaken, opening up and curling around him, pulling the lifeless form downward, covering him until all that is left is the empty shell of his clothing.

Whipping Post

While fighting with the corsairs they will occassionally look for guards. If guards show up then the attacker will be arrested, tied to a post for several minutes, and whipped.

A talan corsair sighs and says, "Never a guard around when ya need em."

A couple of shabbily dressed guards just arrived.
Spotting you breaking the Baron's peace, the two guards quickly apprehend you and drag you away. The guards toss you into a cell.

[A Dirty Cell]
The room stinks of moldy straw and dust. Thick cobwebs hang in every corner. You also see an iron-strapped door.

A guard walks in and grabs hold of you, dragging you out of the cell.

[Var'Quel Manor, Captain's Office]
Weapons and shields of all types are mounted on the walls of this office. The captain of the Baron's guard sits behind his desk, a monstrous creation of wood and iron. Banners, taken from pirated ships, hang from the ceiling. You also see an iron-strapped door.
Obvious exits: out.

The Captain looks up from his desk with a frown and says, "Heh now I don't need to see him. Just drag him out to the post."
The guard grins and drags you outside.

[The Enclave, Raenaden Jegu]
A brick manor, surrounded with a monstrosity of iron and spiked brass, fills up this entire section of street. Shabbily dressed guards loiter around the stoop of the house, their eyes darting suspiciously. Ornate brass lamps are mounted along the length of the fence. You also see a weathered post.
Obvious paths: northeast, southeast, southwest.

The guard kicks you to your knees and ties you to a post.
The guard smiles and says, "Time to teach this one some manners."
A couple of guards expose your back to the air.
With a flick of the wrist the guard stretches out his whip to its full length then lashes out with it, striking you across the back with a loud *CRACK*.
