The canopied token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Not being such a mage, you're fairly certain you couldn't activate such a device.

Were the canopied token to be activated, the following modifications to a servant would be made:

 Base Description: "a darkly canopied Servant"
 Long Description: "a darkly canopied Shadow Servant with vine-like arms and a leafy structure"
 LOOK Description: "This roughly humanoid Shadow Servant is woven from shadows that mimic the tangled floor of a deep forest.  Its arms are long, flexible vines of darkness that sway with a gentle, plant-like rhythm.  The creature's body is a large, hollowed-out mound of shadowy leaves that rustle softly as they churn.  Beneath a brow of tangled brambles, its mouth is a simple, dark opening that remains peacefully still."

These are compatible with the scroll system for alterations. You must use this item as the base when you GET your scroll if you wish to have it altered.
