Lecture
A soft light blossoms in the very center of the crystal, and begins to fill your mind with the knowledge of the fae, fairies and boggles of the realms.
Fae is a broad term describing many creatures -- helpful, mischievous, and neutral -- found in all the known provinces. Sprites, welkin, alfar, nyads, dryads, will o' wisps, gremlins and more can be counted among their ranks.
Many Fae are considered to be created by, but perhaps not always subservient to, the gods -- both benevolent and malevolent. They can be helpful to adventurers, such as the alfar aiding their Empath summoners. So too can they be dangerously destructive, like Zachriedek's gremlins.
Some members of the Fae are primarily encountered in female form by adventurers, but as varied as the Fae are, some species make contact in male form as well.
Magical talent is common among the Fae, though not guaranteed. As mischievous tricksters, sand sprites are known to tingle weapons away from would-be attackers, for example.
Care should be taken when in the presence of any Fae -- even the helpful ones can be mischievous towards adventurers!
The light and crystal sound of your sanowret crystal fades slightly as you come to the end of the knowledge about the fae, fairies and boggles of the realms. You feel quite enlightened, if a bit mentally tired.
