One of the myriad small islands that are technically part of the Qi Archipelago but are in practice largely independent, Basalt Isle is a harsh place with few visitors. Jeihrem's Barrow is a small town upon the island, ruled by the Lich Jeihrem from his manor at the top of the Stairway of Bone.
