Syntax
- FILL <container> WITH <substance>
- Fills a held container with a portion of a substance, such as water.
- FILL <gem pouch> WITH <container>
- Transfers all eligible gems from the source container into the gem pouch, up to the pouch's capacity.

The FILL Verb is used to fill a container with a substance. It can also be used to fill gem pouches with other containers, transferring all gems from that container into the gem pouch. Syntax: FILL <Container> WITH <Substance> Gem Pouch Syntax: FILL <Gem Pouch> WITH <Container>
Notes
- The gem-transfer examples show multiple gems; a one-gem transfer uses "1 gem".
- The destination container must be held and open when filling it with a substance.
- A gem pouch can hold 70 gems while untied and 500 after it is tied. A tied pouch briefly opens and closes itself when filled.
- The gem pouch and source container must each be held or worn. The source container must be open. If it contains no gems, the command reports that nothing was transferred.
- Lockable gem pouches cannot be filled with this command.
- The gem-transfer syntax is the quickest way to collect the treasure from a box: once a box has been disarmed, picked, and opened, FILL <gem pouch> WITH <box> moves every gem inside it in a single action instead of pulling them out one at a time.
