Verbs

  • RAISE: Holding the noisemaker behind your back, you raise the lid and let it drop a few times to create a knocking sound.
  • TURN: You discreetly turn a small knob on the side of the noisemaker. It makes a quiet, metallic chirping sound.
  • TICKLE: Covering the object with your other hand, you jiggle your finger on a wire inside the noisemaker, causing it to emanate a warbling twang.
  • PUSH: You slide one of the noisemaker's dangling parts along its textured bottom, emitting a *click-clack,* *click-clack.*
  • PULL: Carefully ensuring no one can see what you're doing, you pull a lever on the side of your noisemaker. A tinny sound echoes from within.
  • KISS: Turning slightly so as to avoid unnecessary attention, you blow lightly on one end of your noisemaker. The metal and glass shards inside the object bump against each other, tinkling gently.
  • RUB: You rub one of the moveable parts on the underside of your noisemaker, causing it to discharge a low, gravelly rhythm.
  • TOSS: As inconspicuously as possible, you shake your noisemaker violently, forcing the metal scraps inside to jangle raucously.
  • PINCH: You squeeze your fingers on two oilcloth-covered indentations on either side of your noisemaker, forcing something inside to break intentionally.
  • WAVE: Subtly avoiding any potential observers, you retract a thin flap of metal from the rear of the noisemaker. You wiggle it a few times by grabbing the end to generate a deep rumble and intersperse a few bangs from the flick of your finger.
