| Yeah, Last Rites won't award devotion more than once per 10 minutes, so I wouldn't do it on every critter. If you add in the few other rituals that can be done while hunting on a consecrated spot, you should be able to recoup a lot of the cost of Meraud after an hour or so. Because you do lose out on loot and skins, Last Rites awards more devotion than is typical for a commune that is so easy to perform. The reward is on par with the stolen goods ritual, but nowhere near as awesomely rewarding as the blood ritual.
