| Shows your own experience display to another character standing in the same room. Everything typed after the target is passed through to the EXPERIENCE command, so the same groups, rank minimums and RP option apply. |
| TELLEXP <target> You see: Showing <Name> your skills. TELLEXP AVOID Failures |
Syntax
- TELLEXP
- Shows the command's usage. TELLEXP HELP does the same.
- TELLEXP AVOID
- Toggles whether other characters are allowed to send you their experience. While avoiding, anyone who tries is told that you are ignoring TELLEXPs.
- TELLEXP <target>
- Shows the target only those of your skills that currently hold field experience.
- TELLEXP <target> <value>
- Shows every skill of at least value ranks.
- TELLEXP <target> ALL
- Shows every skill.
- TELLEXP <target> <group>
- Shows only the skills in that group. Add a value or ALL after the group to filter it the same way.
- TELLEXP <target> SKILL <skill>
- Shows a single skill, named in full or by any of the abbreviations EXPERIENCE accepts.
- TELLEXP <target> RP <value>
- Sends competency phrases instead of numbers. TELLEXP <target> <group> RP <value> narrows that to one group.
Value = the minimum number of ranks a skill must have to be shown.
Group = ARMOR, WEAPON, MAGIC, SURVIVAL, LORE, SUPERNATURAL, COMBAT, DEFENSE, OFFENSE, CRAFTING[1]
Notes
- The target has to be in the same room, and cannot be hidden or invisible.
- You cannot send yourself a TELLEXP; use EXP to read your own skills.
- The recipient sees the skill lines only. Your circle, Time Development Points, favors, deaths, departs and mind state are all left out, even though they appear when you run EXP on yourself.
