Rules

Cambrinth

Sigzil changes only the appearance of existing cambrinth. He will not add cambrinth, change capacity, or change wear locations.

Ritual Foci

There is no guarantee that all merchants who work on ritual foci will provide all of these services.

Base Items

Ritual foci can be created from items that have no special verbs, scripts, or enchantments.

Ritual foci can be wearable, but you must hold them while activating them.

Spell Compatibility

Spellbook-based ritual foci do not require any special feats to use.

Universal and realm-based ritual foci require the Improvised Rituals feat. Options:

• life
• elemental
• lunar
• universal

Activation Roundtime

Activation roundtime defaults to 20 seconds and can be reduced down to 10 seconds.

Invoke Messaging

Invoke messages can be up to 500 characters (including punctuation and spaces).

There will be a pair of user (second person) and observer (third person) messages. We can use tokens for names and pronouns.

The messaging should make for an item the player is holding and should be agnostic to the surroundings. (We don’t know whether the user will be indoors, outdoors, what time it will be, etc.)

The messaging should focus on physical details that would be visible to a casual observer. Do not include any information about the item’s history or provenance. Do not describe how people would react.

TM Foci

Note: while Sigzil will let you choose tuning options when creating a new TM focus from scratch, he will not change tier, grade, or tuning options on existing TM foci.

There is no guarantee that all merchants who work on TM foci will provide all of these services.

Base Items

TM foci cannot be wearable, and they cannot be weapons or armor. They can’t have any other scripts, enchantments, or special functionality.

Realm

Realm is purely cosmetic. Options:

• holy
• life
• elemental
• lunar
• arcane

Tuning Options

Foci can be tuned to provide:

1. additional durability
2. additional magnitude, or
3. reduced activation time

They can be designed to provide:

1. a large damage increase
2. a moderate damage and accuracy increase
3. a moderate increase to mana efficiency
4. a large bonus to accuracy
5. a chance for adding fire damage
6. a chance for adding cold damage
7. a chance for adding electrical damage

Sigzil has an angular face with a crescent-shaped birthmark, stretched ears with elaborate piercings, tilted dark eyes and a broad nose. He has cropped black hair compressed into a ripple-like pattern, with deep brown skin and a slight build.

Moonskin: Sigzil has a jackal's face with a crescent-shaped birthmark, stretched ears with elaborate piercings, iridescent gold eyes and a narrow, pointed muzzle, a Katamba-black coat with gold masking, a bushy tail with a gold tip and a slight build.

He is unobtrusive for a Rakash.
He appears to be a pack beta.
He has a tattoo of a varna soaring over golden Katamba on his back.

He is wearing a Siksrajan applewood staff heavily inlaid with cambrinth, an enveloping rantija of moonspun silk, an asymmetric goldweave odaj with intricate geometric embroidery, a narrow gold bracer engraved with the seal of the Lunar Accord and a dreamweave artificer's toolbelt fastened with a tursa varna.
