Hunting in DR only requires 2 defenses. I'm saying you could choose not to use any shield (or parry weapon) at all, and it won't break the flexing mechanics. The flexing mechanics do not care if you have a shield or a sword or are laying motionless on the ground with your neck extended :P |

I've just rolled a change that should fix brawling gear made of any of the special materials that should hit the mice. |

I also made a change that weapons that are made of 67% or greater haledroth get their full defense value, instead of prorated by mix. Damage is still based on mix above 67%, however. |

>>Wait, didn't you say we had to have parry sticks and shields made of at least 67% of the metal for them to be effective?
Yes, that is correct.
>> A shield made of the special material is not a requirement. Nor is a parry stick. One or the other will work fine.
Hunting in DR only requires 2 defenses. I'm saying you could choose not to use any shield (or parry weapon) at all, and it won't break the flexing mechanics. The flexing mechanics do not care if you have a shield or a sword or are laying motionless on the ground with your neck extended :P
