Description
Draped in priestly vestments, this ancient-looking Human man cuts a frail and emaciated figure. He has mismatched eyes peering out from under his cowl, one cyan and one ebon. On his belt is a glowing silver chain threaded with a multitude of crystal beads that clatter together at every movement.
Equipment
It is wearing a heavy ice-white caftan embroidered with twining adders along its sleeves, a torn grey woolen cowl.
It is carrying a black-marbled buckler, a tarnished crescentic sickle.
Special Attacks
Appears to be able to advance to melee with a multi strike attack:
A bony wind wretch starts walking toward you, vanishes mid-stride in a vortex of cyan-black smoke, then reappears next to you!
The wretch slashes his blade with blinding speed!
With weak timing, a bony wind wretch feints to the side at you. You counter little of the dagger with a kertig sterak axe.
[You're bruised, mighty, nimbly balanced with opponent in superior position.]
A bony wind wretch slices wide at you. You fend off little of the dagger with a kertig sterak axe.
[You're bruised, mighty, nimbly balanced with opponent in superior position.]
Also appears to have a regular multistrike attack capable of making three attacks at once:
A bony wind wretch chops wide at you. You fend off little of the dagger with a kertig sterak axe.
[You're bruised, mighty, nimbly balanced with opponent in excellent position.]
Attacking forcefully, a bony wind wretch nimbly balanced at you. You badly fail to block with a kertig sterak axe. The dagger lands a grazing blow to your abdomen.
[You're bruised, mighty, nimbly balanced with opponent in excellent position.]
Strongly, a bony wind wretch nimbly balanced at you. You badly fail to block with a kertig sterak axe. The dagger lands a glancing blow to your right arm.
[You're bruised, mighty, nimbly balanced with opponent in excellent position.]
Or can advance to melee and attack your neck:
A ragged wind hag suddenly twirls in place and vanishes into a vortex of cyan-black smoke! Almost immediately, you feel her rancid breath upon your nape, an adder-shaped sacrificial dagger pressing against your throat.
Thinking fast, you slam your glaes buckler backwards to the wind hag's face, breaking her grip as she lurches away from you!
[You're bruised, nimbly balanced with opponent in very strong position.]
Can remove lodged items and hurl them back:
Flinching slightly, a bony wind wretch pulls out a snake-painted pulzone that was lodged in him. He hurls it at you with a bone-rattling, maddened shriek!
Guided by a sudden current of frigid wind, the snake-painted pulzone lodges savagely into your right leg!
[You're bruised, winded, adeptly balanced and opponent has slight advantage.]
Death
Each asterisk is a different death message, they have quite a few apparently.
- His plea evidently unanswered, he expels his last breath with a death rattle.
- A bony wind wretch gasps, whispering "Fear...the Night of Glory..." before he dies.
- A bony wind wretch falls to the ground and lies still. A faint cyan shadow passes over his corpse.
Decay messaging:
- The wind pulls up the broken body of a bony wind wretch high into the sky and flings it off the mountain.
