Description
One of the legendary predators that skulk the face of Elanthia, the wyvern embodies the perfect combination of raw killing strength and razor-keen intelligence. Hunched forward on two immense legs, the wyvern towers at nearly twenty feet tall, ready to lash outwards at a moment's notice. Sharp serpentine features grace its enormous triangular skull, occasionally curling its maw with a rumbling snarl to display the scimitar-sized serrated fangs, perfect for tearing flesh from bone.
Recall
Hatching from eggs, wyverns take a fairly long time to mature, and are usually born in clutches of eighteen to twenty eggs that can weigh nearly a hundred pounds each. Adult wyverns are fully capable of flight and can grow to massive sizes.
Adult wyverns are massive, intelligent, and well known to prey on lesser-skilled adventurers, enjoying the challenge of hunting them. In addition, they can inflict a lethal dose of poison to their victims, and are fully capable of burning them to a crisp.
It is well known that wyverns will eat anything that moves, including unlucky adventurers. Thus, their stomachs are often a treasure trove of coins and items.
In Depth
Will take bites out of corpses upon death.
Special Attacks
