Description

Relationship Status: Married to Saisen Diamiiele since the 3rd month of Lirisa the Archer in the year of the Crystal Snow Hare, 391. Though she is not often seen with Saisen, Talliska is completely devoted to him and has no interest whatsoever in other mates.

Religion: The Prydaen Three, Eu, Demrris and Tenemlor. Talliska is particularly devoted to the aspect of Tenemlor, whom she praises for her staunch opposition against the undead and necromancy. Despite her belief in the Three, though, she also acknowledges the existence of the Thirteen and their importance to the people of Kermoria.

Background

Talliska is one of the last surviving members of Wildclaw Hub in the distant west, brought as an infant to Zoluren at the end of the Great Migration. Her father Drashre and mother Chadralor died to ensure she would be safely brought to Rivercrossing.

Despite having migrated so young, Talliska was still raised among Prydaen for much of her early life, and thus has a rather awkward way of speaking Common, though she understands the language very well. Habit, along with several years of hermitage in the forests of Therengia, have kept her from learning to speak it more smoothly. She used to be very shy about this quirk, but found that people tend to think her more memorable for it. Nonetheless, her speech has gradually been improving, probably from having such well-spoken friends.

She is bonded to Sir Saisen Diamiiele, an Elothean Paladin on a self-imposed exile from his homeland of Ilithi. Talliska has often felt torn between her love for Saisen and her Prydaen heritage, but has gradually settled into life among the myriad people of Kermoria's five provinces. Open-minded for a Prydaen, she expresses neither prejudice for nor superiority to other races, and is quite eager to learn more about cultures and practices beside her own.

It once pained Talliska that she will never be able to biologically reproduce with her lifemate. However, her dedication to Tenemlor, the people she loves and the causes she supports are more than enough to fill her days with purpose, children or no.

Disappearance

Talliska abruptly disappeared from AV 392-396, without telling anyone where she would be headed.

At some point during her hiatus, the barrier keeping Lyras in the Prydaen and Rakash lands was broken. She embarked on a journey to the former site of the barrier, returning to the lands the Wildclaw Hub once occupied. Her purpose was both to see for herself the current state of her homeland, and to make sure her family members had been properly put to rest.

Return to Duties

In the 4th month of Shorka the Cobra, 396, she returned to the lands of Kermoria and reunited with her few close friends, as well as members of the Order of the White Rose, new and old. A former council member, she has requested to Manze that she be reinstated as a regular member to allow her more time to train and stretch her legs traveling throughout Kermoria.

Now, with Lyras and her minions invading the Eastern lands, Talliska is determined to do her part to ensure the safety of Kermoria and its people, as well as educate those unfamiliar with Prydaen culture and the threat that Lyras represents.

Recruiting Specialist

222 Arhat 396 - Talliska is now an Order of the White Rose Specialist assisting Councilor Samarah Riverhawk with recruiting duties.

Since that appointment, Talliska has spent a great deal of time assisting Samarah in writing and testing the new Order of the White Rose Recruiting Program and training lessons. The program is part of a continuing effort to bolster the White Rose's reputation and involvement in Zoluren, as the requirements for joining and maintaining Order membership are strengthened and clarified.

Ties of Blood Reunited

33 Akroeg 397 - Talliska has reunited with Nealie, the daughter of her deceased sister, Evaneska Wildclaw. Until now she has thought she was the only one of Wildclaw blood still alive. The reunion was a joyful event, and Talliska is devoted now to teaching and protecting Nealie (who is also a Ranger like herself), as well as to her Order duties.

Councilor of the Rose

36 Akroeg 397 - Talliska has been promoted to Councilor of the Order of the White Rose. She still works closely with the Recruiting Team, but is hoping to branch out with duties and contributions related to other teams, for the betterment and promotion of the Order as a whole.

Demise of the Destroyer

Throughout the events related to Lyras, the Order of the White Rose has involved itself in the defense of Zoluren. Talliska, working as a member of the OWR Rescue Team, put in many anlas of work to bring bodies to the Temple Triage under Alexsei. Her contributions were heaviest during the 4th month of Shorka 397, during which Lyras reawoke after her 'coma' following the battle that took Vorclaf's life, and her generals Sahfra and Tachid were near-ceaselessly attacking the Crossing.

153 Shorka 397 - Talliska was present as a Rose Rescuer in Zoluren, defending the Crossing Temple on the day Lyras, Sahfra and Tachid were finally destroyed for good.

Rescue Coordinator

176 Uthmor 397 - Talliska was nominated by Samarah to take the Council seat of Rescue Coordinator. She accepted, so long as she would still be able to continue her work with Recruits. So Talliska is now the head of the Rescue Team, while now and then serving as an Advisor to Recruits.

Recruiting Director and Hiatus

Nissa 397 - After the departure of the previous Recruiting Director, Talliska has been asked to take over the position. She has done so, if reluctantly.

Shortly into her stint as Recruiting Director, a couple of difficult, but unrelated situations arose that led Talliska to take what some have viewed as a harsh stance on her judgment of Recruits. The resulting reactions to this shook Talliska's belief she is suited for the job after all.

As a result, Talliska has taken a leave of absence to ponder these and other matters, concentrating on her combat training while the current Recruiting assitant, Mialeigh, takes care of business competently. She has given no set date yet about when she will return, but is prepared to accept that should her absence be long enough, her position in the Order will be replaced.

Belonging

Akroeg 398 - The new year. Talliska recently attended the wedding of one of her best friends in Elanthia, Terra, to her true love Marsais. Grumpy as she may have been about being social again, she was overjoyed to see them united in heart, with her near-brother Alexsei as the presiding Cleric.

A few andu after that was an Order meeting and training session, which she attended and participated in willingly (the dominant opinion seemed to be that she is terrible at staying away). Then she visited the Guild Festival, happy to spend time with friends and family and shop to her heart's content. A surprise gift from Samarah brought joy all around.

The beginning of the year is shaping up better than Talliska had imagined, and--while she still considers herself partially on leave--she now looks seriously toward how she can better serve the Order of the White Rose as Councilor and Recruiting Director.
