Light from a grey stone fireplace glistens off rows of copper pots and pans hanging from the whitewashed walls of the large common room. Piles of clean warm furs lie stacked in the open area before the fire, where tired travellers may lay down for a good nights sleep. Long wooden tables with benches alongside await the hungry guest, and the promise of delicious food and refreshing drink drifts through the air from the swinging kitchen door.
