Description

Standing over twenty feet tall, an ice archon is a being made entirely out of ice and snow, except for its eyes which glow an eerie pale blue color and appear to be the source of its animation. Snow and ice constantly sheds from its massive frame, showering to the ground in waves. It stares forward with an uncaring gaze, although there is a deep-rooted malevolence in its ethereal eyes.

Recall

These massive constructs are made entirely out of ice and snow, and cannot survive long in any climate above arctic. Despite the magic fuelling them, these creatures tend to care litle about their surroundings, though they are aggressive to intruders.

Though ice archons are enormous, they are constantly shedding their ice, and thus are very short-lived in their lives. Some believe that these constructs only exist because of a central source of magic that constantly makes more of them.

It is also rumored that ice archons are a product of necromantic experimentation. In an effort to hide their evil deeds, necromancers would experiment on ice, reasoning that it would soon melt afterward. However, a few escaped into snowy reigons where they manage to live on.
