Description
The blade spider is covered with thick chitinous plates, appearing not unlike a suit of armor with numerous legs. Sword-shaped blades run along the back of the spider's front appendages and multi-faceted eyes peer quizzically from over a set of vice-like barbed mandibles.
In Depth
Special Attacks
Blade spiders can inject an immobilizing poison into their prey. This seems to only take place while you are webbed.
You are caught in the webs and held fast!
The blade spider deftly employs its barbed mandibles to pierce the surface of your skin and injects you with venom!
The poison's effect is immediate, and pulses every 10-15 seconds for nearly 5 minutes. It appears to be similar in nature to cyanide poison (knocks you down, drains stamina.)
They can also ambush, dropping down from the ceiling on their silk to melee range.
Hardcap evasion prior to 440. Continue to move armor and parry quite well in the 350 range. Easy to fight with 300 in melee weapons.
