Small cutaway illustrations scattered around the main drawing show different levels of muscle tissue and bone from various parts of the body. Small notations beside each body part offer a short description. Read: About two feet high at the shoulders, this tawny, spotted cat is drawn standing with its back arched and one paw lifted. Ruffs of hair beneath its tufted black-tipped ears give the creature's face a wide appearance. A note at the bottom of the chart cautions that the felines have been known to take prey eight times their own weight, which they cache to feed on at their leisure.
