Item Page Edits
Thanks for adding inventory from Griniel's Cottage! A couple of quick notes about item forms:
- The "name" field should be left blank unless the name differs from the page name (for example, capitalization).
- All appraisal values and prices should contain commas if they are greater than 999.
- If you have time, it doesn't hurt to fill out the materials, colors, and symbols. (This is used for searching the item database.) If there is more than one, separate them by commas (for example, |MTag=suede, wood).

- Noun: The noun field calls for a single word. For example, the noun of dark blue balaclava with a band of light blue tinted links around the bottom edge is simply "balaclava."
- Look: If there is no look, just type a hyphen (-) in the look field. This will automatically display "You see nothing unusual."
- MTag: Please do not list "metal" as a material unless the tap or look says "metal" and does not list a specific metal. (There is another field, metal=, that flags an item as being metal or not for repair purposes.)
- CTag: Just list the basic colors used. For example, in dark blue balaclava with a band of light blue tinted links around the bottom edge, the color is simply "blue." The reason for using more general terms is for the search query.
- STag: "Emblazoned," "enameled," "painted," the parts of the item, etc., are not symbols. The symbols field should be limited to images that appear on the item. Again, we also use the most general term for search purposes. For example, in dark blue balaclava with a band of light blue tinted links around the bottom edge, the symbol is simply "lightning."
- Source: Please use the original page link and not a redirected link. For example, it's Griniel's Cottage, not Warrior Mage Guild Shop.
- Lastly, please do not undo a moderator's edits. If you disagree with an edit, please explain why on the page's "Talk" page.
If you have any questions about item pages, please let me know. Thanks again for your help in adding missing inventory! --Isharon 19:11, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
