Note: Some say that if you make a mistake in crafting, it would be best to throw the bow or arrow away and start again. This is only true if you're looking for a weapon to use. If you're just crafting to gain experience, then it would be wise to continue on that same item.
Note: Any mistakes during fletching will reduce the value of the item created to zero. If you're fletching a bow for use, it is recommended that you throw the bow away and start anew. Making a mistake on an arrow is more complicated though. If you've already invested [[Feather Flights]], [[Flight Glue]], or an [[Arrowhead]], then it might be better to simply use the arrow anyways. This point it moot however, if you're simply crafting bows for experience.

Fletching

Fletching is the term used to describe crafting your own bows and arrows in Elanthia. Upon obtaining more than 40 ranks in your bow skill and Mechanical Lore, the bows and arrows you'll make will usually be superior to what can be purchased at most stores.

Your bow skill determines the quality of the bow or arrow that you make, while your Mechanical Lore skill will reduce the number of mistakes you make while fletching.

Note: Any mistakes during fletching will reduce the value of the item created to zero. If you're fletching a bow for use, it is recommended that you throw the bow away and start anew. Making a mistake on an arrow is more complicated though. If you've already invested Feather Flights, Flight Glue, or an Arrowhead, then it might be better to simply use the arrow anyways. This point it moot however, if you're simply crafting bows for experience.
