Description
An immense mass of shambling bones bound by slimy, blackened flesh, this behemoth is no less intimidating in undeath as it was in life. Largely visible now under the oozing skin, heavy bone plates on its head and back protect the majority of its body, and its exposed rib cage is reminiscent of a walking prison cell.
In Depth
Recall
Though many yeehars die in service to Sand Elves, or as a source of food for S'Kra Mur, those that pass on of natural causes in the wild are said to find themselves drawn to a canyon deep in the Velakan wastes, where their bones have collected for generations to form a great, macabre graveyard.
Special Attack
Body Attack: A cadaverous yeehar lowers its head and anchors its weight on its front feet, spinning its entire body around toward you!
Hit: The massive tail of the undead yeehar slams into your right leg with a sickening crunch, sending you toppling to the ground!
Miss: You leap over the sweeping tail, narrowly escaping the blow!
Eating: A cadaverous yeehar tosses back its head, sending you plummeting down into its ribcage!
[Inside a Cadaverous Yeehar]
The empty ribcage of this terrible undead creature serves as an effective prison. Overhead are thick bone plates that protect its back, and escape through the mouth is perilous due to the snapping jaws. Every surface is coated with a thick membrane of putrid slime, which even now drips slowly downward. Several of the ribs appear cracked in places, possibly its only weak point.
Obvious exits: none.
Either very resistant or immune to all kinds of debilitation.
