Description:
You see Researcher Anlise LightShadow of the House of the Gentle Lion, an Elothean Cleric.
She has tilted almond-shaped blue eyes. Her dark brown hair is long and curly, and is worn in a deceptively careless-looking arrangement of upswept locks held in place by a bluefire velvet storybook rose accented with mistglass leaves. She has fair skin.
Some blue-grey damaryn pearls accented by sapphires float lazily around her neck, glowing with a lustrous sheen against your skin.
She is in her prime.
Her face is graced with a hammered gold lyrandia flower positioned low on the forehead, resting between her eyes. Thin muracite tendrils radiate outwards from the gilded bloom, undulating across her brow before ending in a spiral at each temple.
History:
Anlise was the sole natural child of Vinuss and Leggacy, born to this pairing in a small town in the domain of Ilithi. The couple adopted a number of children that were orphaned after an attack of S'kra priests, and Anlise grew up among a merry throng of children of different races. She was especially close to her twin adopted siblings, Sunnie and Hadassah. Several years after they left to seek their fortune, Anlise followed in their footsteps to Crossing, where she pledged herself to the Bard's Guild. A musician deep in her soul, she remained a Bard until she found herself in the care of a young orphan named Wren at the start of the Gorbesh War. Around the same time, she encountered a young Warrior Mage, Roulan DeCharney. They married shortly after meeting, and Anlise subsequently gave birth to a daughter and assumed parentage of Roulan's adopted son, Subai.
Distraught by her inability to help Wren, Anlise pledged herself to the Empath's Guild not long after her marriage. This turned out to be the start of the rift that led to her eventual divorce from Roulan, as Anlise feverishly worked through the Gorbesh War to increase her skill as an empath and help find the captured Wren. After the war and the end of her marriage, Anlise suffered the loss of her daughter to illness. In her grief, she spent the next few years traveling. She returned to Zoluren pregnant with her second daughter, entering the service of the Ferdhal in Ilithi after giving birth and serving as a Mentor for several years. Banishment during the Outcast War resulted in Anlise relocating to Crossing, where she found the war first as a lieutenant in Vorclaf's Scythe, then commander of Zoluren's triage squad. After the war, Anlise served as Zoluren's first ambassador to Ilithi. During her time as ambassador, she was reminded of her need to choose her Elothean house, as her 30th birthday had come and gone. She aligned herself with the House of the Gentle Lion, the House of her mother.
After the death of her second daughter and the loss of her sister, Sunnie, Anlise chose to rededicate her life to the Gods and made a final shift in guilds. She is now a cleric who serves Hodierna, along with Faenella and Tamsine. Along with that shift came a second, much longer pilgrimage. She returned to Crossing early in the year 414, where she resides quietly along the Strand and has entered an apprenticeship with the Crossing Outfitting Society as a tailor. She remains vigilant to the needs of those in pain and is still quick to respond to triage help.
Crafting:
As part of her dedication to the gods, Anlise has taken up work as a seamstress with the crafting and repair of tools as a hobby. She can also dye any item crafted by another artisan, as well as the initial material prior to crafting an object. You can see her list of available dyes below.
