---|---|
Look: | The fragile-looking, thin parchment is in fact quite sturdy, yet the crinkle of the parchment recalls the surge and foam of surf. Dark blue letters in a curving style mimic the swell of ocean waves, as the words of the prayer tumble over the surface of the page. A dark blue border with cresting waves tipped in silver ink frames the prayer. |

-Hymn to Eluned and Her Many Faces-
- by Lathaliu Ewoenyn
Eluned! Goddess of all we know to be true
I cleanse my mind in thy healing waters of blue
I praise thy glory and spread thy fame
So that every echo will sound in thy name.
Lemicus! In word, speech and rhyme I celebrate thy deeds
In every city, town and village I plant thy good seed
When my mind is tranquil like a calm, placid lake
I grow in thy knowledge, thy good will I take.
Drogor! There are days when things are best left unknown
I accept that in hard times I may feel alone
When my mind rages in pain like a turbulent sea
I wait for the treasures thy waves will cast up to me.
My Goddess, my teacher, my Mistress, my friend
To each of thy aspects humble prayers do I send
In all of thy faces there is a balance divine
And I give to you all proper worship in kind.
- Amen
