Sniping is defined as shooting a projectile from another weapon in a stealthy manner (at least as far as we agreed upon when I was checking into getting things approved). Since LT and HT are thrown, they don't fall under this category. The main reason slings and staff slings were allowed is to ensure that all FIRE-able weapons in the game fall under the same umbrella of "snipability." -- GM Tiesse
