long-bladed falchion with a half-basket hilt | |
---|---|
Look: | This heavy blade has a gentle curve to it, narrow for most of its length, with a flared tip that has a much more pronounced curve. The weapon is balanced on the other end by a detailed half-basket cast in solid steel. A carved ivory handle matches the basket and cross-guard, giving the gold-trimmed hilt and pommel the look of a headless skeleton, standing upon a rock. |
