Armorsmithing will be a discipline of the [[Forging skill]] after the mech split.

The smelting and shaping processes are similer to the other disciplines in the forging skill, but armorsmithing has a few different steps.

===Chain===
Types: ring, chain, and mail
Making chain armor has an additional step of turning with tong to make the metal into wire.
*Note: Some pieces are light chain, but the majority should be heavy
===Brigadine===
Types: Scale, brigadine, lamellar
*Note: All pieces use light plate skill until skills 3.0 comes out
