You gonna ever put those redlinked items into the system? Huh, huh, huh?<br />
Joking aside, I'd really appreciate anything you add, or you can wave a few at Linett and she'll knock down your door to get them. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 07:09, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

maaaaybe...heh. Yea, now that you guys have made it so much easier to both create links and use the forms to make the new pages, that was my plan to start adding information from table stuff too. I have so much <s>old junk</s> treasures for Myya to sell, my problem now might be trying to remember where things came from! --Kythryn 07:43, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

Just saw you seem to be unsure which to use. Ilink is the handy linking one that allows you to quickly create links. Sloot is a special one that basically tells the system "this page is a source for xxxx" and automatically populates the item page with that source. We use it for both direct (sold by) and indirect (sold in this container) sources. That's why it's sloot "Source for LOOT".<br />

Thanks Caraamon. I was trying to see what you and Linett were correcting on things I was listing, and I just assumed that 'sloot' was the new 'ilink' as a number of changes were for that. It makes sense though, as a number of the items I've been sorting are 'kits' and have those dependencies. I'll make some adjustments to things again tonight. I'll also dig out some more of those avatar items for the different armband & anklet materials and confirm mana sizes, weight, etc. --Kythryn 01:07, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Just to save you some effort, only use itype if it's different from the noun. For example, "mortar" doesn't need it, but "mixing stick" would. In the Template:TSearch use "n=y" to have it search for the noun. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 02:27, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

If it helps, use Form:Post to set up your trader posts. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 10:41, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, I saw you had to move those posts to a different name. Sorry about that, glad I didn't get to them all! How do I get the 'Post:' part to show up in the title? Is that what I put in the 'Type' form box? Thanks! --Kythryn 10:11, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Ilink vs. Sloot

That's why it's sloot "Source for LOOT".
Hopefully I didn't completely confuse you like I did myself. -Moderator Caraamon Makdasi(talk) 20:18, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
