It was while hiding away in Aesry that their friendship truly shifted, Enthal's heart beginning to believe that Fate was trying to tell him more than he initially thought, where Asilyia was concerned. Determined to see if Fate would continue to guide him, he made up his mind, taking the pair of dice he'd carved for a different purpose during the day, and deciding to put them to a more playful use. Dice in hand, he made a wager with Asilyia that would allow him to kiss her if he rolled the dice and acquired a "7." Bashfully, Asilyia accepted, unaware that the dice would only roll a "6" and "1" as carved. Eventually, Enthal admitted his trick to Asilyia, but it mattered little by then, as the two had already grown so close, Asilyia admitted she would have kissed him even if the numbers had turned up differently. Over the next few months, the two were engaged and secretly married while in Ratha before finally finding their way back home to inform their family of their union. |

Personality
Youth provides Enthal with a playfulness that makes him almost devious in nature, though kindhearted and innocent in many ways. He grew up in a loving household and left home with a somewhat naive view of the world that has begun to shift as the years go by, colored by the trials and tribulations that have slowly cleared the rose-tint from his spectacles.
Family
Still young by Elven standards, Enthal is currently the only child born of his parents. He has one cousin, Ezerak Vershir, and a niece, Sayara Evyntine-Vershir, born of Ezerak's marriage to Lady Ayrell Evyntine-Vershir of Elamiri. Despite his family's initial expectation that Enthal would join them in the family business of trade, his parents fully supported his decision to join the guild of Moon Mages and remain proud of his progress, to this day.
Marriage
After joining Fortune's Path, Enthal spent a few years on Taisgath before venturing out in search of adventure and trusting Fate to guide him in his travels. While on a short visit to Therenborough, he received an invitation from his cousin, Ezerak, to join him and his newly betrothed (now wife) for a family breakfast in Arthe Dale so that Enthal could meet Lady Ayrell. Pleased by the thought of seeing his cousin again, after being gone for so long, Enthal accepted the invitation and made his way to the designated location. Once there, he was surprised to learn that Ezerak was not only gaining a wife in his marriage, but a step-daughter as well. A young woman by the name of Asilyia Evyntine. Struck by Asilyia's beauty, he tried not to give in to it, though the task was made even more difficult when he discovered Asilyia to be of the same age as himself. Excited by the prospect of seeing Asilyia again, he jumped at the news of Asilyia's plan to visit Therenborough, offering to show her around, should Fate guide their paths to cross. As Fate would have it, their paths did exactly that, though not quite in the way Enthal anticipated. While showing Asilyia around the town, word began to spread of an unusual attack in which time itself appeared to have been altered, bringing with it the threat of Gorbesh warriors marching into the streets of Crossing and Riverhaven. Unsure of whether the threat would spread farther north, Enthal hid Asilyia away with him in the safety of Gealeranendae College, doing his best to ease her worries by entertaining her with card tricks and magic he'd learned during his time on Taisgath. Their time together began to forge a deeper friendship between them which eventually began to blossom into more as the weeks went on. Then, one fateful day, Enthal came across Asilyia at the Therenborough Inn where she was staying, her cheeks streaked with tears over a letter she'd received from her father. Distraught over the news the letter brought, Asilyia voiced a desire to leave Therenborough and run away to the islands, since she had never been there before and she wanted to just get away where no one would know where to find her. Concerned for her safety, and not wanting her to travel alone, Enthal offered to travel with her. In the rashness of their youth, they decided to sneak away in secret.
