I'm surprised to see 'repeatedly injuring yourself (or another character) in order to generate experience for an empath or cleric' listed under 'bug abuse'. I'm pretty sure purposefully injuring oneself is a not-uncommon way to train First Aid or Empathy. SHELTIM (talk) 11:49, 13 October 2016 (CDT) |

:Injuring yourself to learn FA (touching a brazier, box trap, etc) isn't really seen as bug abuse (at least as far as I know), but injuring yourself to teach an Empath Empathy definitely is. What's amusing (annoying?) is that unless people are explicitly terrible about it, it's hard to tell the difference between injuring yourself just for this purpose or not. It's less abuse and more falling into a stupid-trap. In other words, if someone injures themselves training sorcery, it's not like that's against policy. Or if two people PvP for fun and you heal them, that also isn't against policy. But if someone goes "I AM BACKFIRING SORCERY FOR EMPATHS AT X" or "WE'RE CUTTING OURSELVES FOR EMPATHS WATCH US PVP" that's probably abuse. --TEVESHSZAT (talk) 12:28, 13 October 2016 (CDT) |
