Because the sprite's cast Rising Mists and Geyser with regularity, they train evasion and shield much more readily than parry. While my parry is ahead of my evasion and shield, it's not by enough that it should make a difference, especially at the current ranks (~150), but parry moves much more slowly than would be expected.
