I just did finished a test on the item repair action. I only counted 16 feedings for it. I did this by using while at max charge, then feeding until I hit the max again. Would like confirmation before adjusting the table. |

Just tested the discipline bonus of "tilt", using concentration pool. It gave me +8. |

Also tested the strength/stamina bonus from "punish", using burden. It increased my stats a total of +16, so presumably that was +8/+8. So I feel reasonably confident saying the bonuses are all +8/+8.--[[User:Antendren|Antendren]] 05:32, 24 June 2012 (UTC) |

Feeding Requirements
Some of the abilities that are listed as requiring 1 feeding may require two. Ederick and I were unable to get the vitality boost (raise) after just 1 feeding. --Isharon 21:49, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- It's possible that I misinterpreted what "costs may go up after players have some time testing things out" meant. Instead of what we have to feed the spider with going up, the cost of using ability X may be what the GMs will end up increasing (maybe that's what happened?). I don't know for certain, though. -TEVESHSZAT 00:26, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
The page currently claims it's possible to feed gold or platinum to the spider. Has anyone actually done this, or are we just extrapolating here? I've tried when mine isn't hungry, and the response I get is different than what I get when trying to feed silver while the spider isn't hungry. This makes me suspect the spider only takes copper/bronze/silver.--Antendren 20:39, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
- Plat was told that the "feeding costs" may go up later on once players figure out what the spiders do, and we extrapolated that it may mean the spider may want gold and platinum eventually. I don't think that including that information really spoils anything for the Prime people testing it out, since you guys already discovered that it feeds off of coins. -TEVESHSZAT 00:38, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
STARE: You stare blankly at your blade spider, admiring the dragonfire amber patterns on its back. It gets tired of sitting there and bites your hand sharply, but you manage to concentrate through the pain. After a bit you feel more focused than before. --Zeteivek
- Added this to the table on the item page. You should add that stuff there instead of here! -TEVESHSZAT 04:14, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
Counter Reset?
Did anyone confirm that a spider's "counter" resets if you ignore the feeding for X amount of time? If it's just a theory and not confirmed I don't know if it should be on the main page. -00:30, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- I asked Ederick how he reached that conclusion, and he said, "i was feeding it irregularly and never more than once at a feeding period one consecutive that is and could not use any verbs until i did 2 periods in a row i mean i fed it once couldn't do anything and missed a period only when i did two periods back to back could i do a verb." --Isharon 02:43, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- Would that mean there's a 1 hour cooldown timer from when it was last fed before it gets hungry again, which works if you are online or offline, and in addition to that there's another timer that only works when you're online which can reset the number of charges completely? -TEVESHSZAT 02:52, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- My spider hasn't asked to be fed in about a day which leads me to believe there is a cap to how charged the spider can be. I have no intent on using it anytime in the near future so i'll let you guys know if that changes and if it appears to have reset. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the cap is somewhere around 20. --Callahaan 13:21, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
- My own testing gives me the impression there's a cap around 20, as well. Might even be 18 since that's [still?] the cap for the highest cost ability. -TEVESHSZAT 17:16, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
- Update Its been a couple more days and it didn't reset. The moment I used the ability my spider was hungry again. I honestly do not think there is a reset timer, or if there is, its very long. --Callahaan 13:33, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
- I lost count, but mine is no longer hungry either. --Isharon 16:05, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Warm-up Period
On the Play.net forum, some players speculated that there is an initial "warm-up" period of about 10 feedings before the clockwork spider is fully functional. Has anyone confirmed this? If so, were the ability feeding requirements compiled after this warm-up period? --Isharon 18:43, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
- That may explain some of the initial discrepancies that players have been reporting. --Isharon 18:44, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Ability Costs
I removed the costs of everything but prod, since those values were incorrect per what Solomon wrote (not sure who in Prime verified that data, anyway...). I left prod's charge requirement since that seems to have been verified after they adjusted the charge costs. -TEVESHSZAT 15:55, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
