The shell will initially be bonded to the person that unwraps it, but the bond can be broken and established with someone else by invoking it. An unwrapped and bonded shell can be linked to another shell by rubbing them together. Once a link has been established, a message whispered into a shell can be heard in the shell that it is linked to. Shaking the shell will release the message it is holding. Your skill will determine the distance that your words can travel. The speed of your voice is determined by the wind. You should not link more than one shell with the same person.
