Dreldan (40 BL -- 44 AV) was one of the original seven Paladin Councilmembers and the first Crossing guildleader. Not the stereotypical Paladin, and infamous for his prickly personality, he was a Human mercenary who rejected his calling by the gods for many years. While it isn't known what exactly made Dreldan "see the light," he befriended a priest at some point and finally accepted his calling. He was a master shieldsman who wielded a wall shield. Dreldan oversaw the construction of the Crossing guildhall, so it was only natural that he headed it upon completion; however, he was already an old man by then so his time in the position was brief.
