Almanacs can be STUDIED every 10 real life minutes to gain field experience. Almanacs come in random skill and specified skill variants. Some are limited to skills within a single skillset while others randomly choose a skillset and skill.
Only random-allskill almanacs and specific-skill almanacs will teach guild skill. Random-skillset almanacs will not teach the guild skill.
Almanacs share a global cooldown timer for STUDY. You must wait 10 minutes after studying one almanac before studying another almanac.
Syntax
- STUDY You believe you would learn something significant about Lore if you were to OPEN the XXXX almanac and STUDY its contents.
- OPEN You open the XXXX almanac
- CLOSE You close the XXXX almanac.
Messaging
- STUDY when off cooldown: You set about studying your XXXX almanac intently. You believe you've learned something significant about <skill>!
- STUDY when on cooldown: You've gleaned all the insight you can from the XXXX almanac, for now.
- STUDY when on cooldown by Someone Else: The pages of the XXXX almanac seem worn, so you decide not to risk damaging them.
