Update Requests
While there has been many requests by players to update the forums, the staff have indicated that it would be unlikely to happen.
This is due to the extensive amount of money and time necessary to program a forum system that can interact with the custom billing system that Simutronics uses. They have indicated that no existing forum system they have examined would be sufficient for their needs.

Custom Avatars
In the forums PROFILE section, you have the ability to choose avatar graphics for your account. There are a large number provided by Simu and additionally, you can set up a custom graphic. To do this, you first go to the web site Gravatar and create an account. Next, add your play.net email to the account and confirm via the email link. Finally, upload your own graphic or link to one via the "upload new graphic" page.
Once you have completed the above steps, all your posts on any of the Simutronics forums will show this custom graphic, regardless of any you have chosen via the forums PROFILE selection process.
