Forming a dull orange ingot when cooled, Vardite is known for its ability to create armor above the performance of steel. Though not as durable or as hard as tyrium , it provides the same amount of physical protection and is slightly easier to work with. Items forged from vardite are denser than steel or tyrium and command exorbitant prices (hundreds, if not thousands, of platinum for a single piece is not unreasonable).
Required to be provided for alterations.
