Description
The retan dolomar is a squat, many-legged beast with a hard carapace. Rivaling a yak in mass, the dolomar has been known to kill and eat almost anything it could sink its pincers into. Desert legend suggests that it is this very beast that destroyed the entire population of the West Palms Oasis and halted trade to the northern and western quarters of the desert all together.
Anatomy Chart
The retan dolomar is a squat, many-legged beast with a hard carapace. Rivaling a yak in mass, the dolomar has a wickedly barbed stinger and huge claws. A notation at the bottom notes that this beast may have destroyed the entire population of a Reshalian oasis and halted trade to the northern and western quarters altogether.

Special Attacks
Poison sting.
Retan Dolomars are bizarre beasts inhabiting Hara'jaal. They are occasionally hunted for their poison glands which are used to make thief poison. They seem to have slightly reduced evasion for their level while being very resistant to piercing and slashing damage, though not as pronounced as Seordhevor Kartais. Impact and high suited for strength weapons (katar, mattock, various axes) seem to work well. They have an engagement cap of 4. Soft cap on weapons becomes more severe as ranks approach 350.
Spit Acid: (Encountered on Pokekehekepi Beach) Acid burns through head worn armor making it worthless also causing severe eye and skin injury.
A bulge forms in the sand and swarms towards you! You casually move aside and the bulge vanishes.
The sands shift suddenly as a retan dolomar pulls itself out of the ground!
Something moves in the edge of your vision, but as you turn to look a small, many-legged reptile spits a stream of ochre goo at your face, but you twist out of the way of the spray.
The poison is an attack that can occur from missile range.
