Yeah, stat-wise Absolution is the inverse of GoL: -Stamina, -Empathy. Unlike most spells, Absolution's debuffs get weaker with more Potency rather than stronger, but never go away entirely.

I thought it was enough to do a -Empathy debuff rather than go out of my way to lock you out of Empath Tricks. I reserve the right to change this if I think I need to, but I don't foresee that.
