long-tailed widow finch
Look:	A small songbird, the widow finch is only about a hand's-width from head to rump, with a long, curving tail that fans out theatrically. Its head, back and wings are charcoal lightly banded with white, and its tail is black. The bird's cheek and belly are white, with a dark collar sweeping forward from its back to dip down the front of the chest. It has black eyes and a deep red beak that seems large in proportion to its head.
