Description: This enchante is one marked by depression, pain, and finally reluctant surrender to the inevitablity of death:

From its melancholy introduction to the final lyrics, Abandoned Heart saps the very will to live from those who hear it. Wounds have been known to open and bleed faster, normally stoic and steadfast individuals become less disciplined and break down, and enduring animals and mounts quickly fatigue and become weak in the presence of a Bard singing this enchante. Many have foul words for those Bards who insist on performing Abandoned Heart.

Example Messaging: Intro: Though softly humming at first, you soon allow your voice to dance along the darkly melodic introduction to "Abandoned Heart".

Notes

  • Drains the fatigue of those not in the Bard's group.
  • Reduces the discipline of those not in the Bard's group.
  • Discipline penalty is -3/(7 mana), except that 63 mana inflicts a -26 penalty, not -27 as predicted.
  • Causes existing bleeding wounds to become more severe. The wound itself does not get worse, simply the rate at which it bleeds.
