In the real world, blue gold is an alloy of gold and indium. It is not actually blue in color but rather a silvery white, more closely resembles platinum.[1]
In DragonRealms, it's of unspecified composition and color, and only available from a Prydaen merchant who sold blue gold items. Also seen on other Prydaen themed items.
