::Elanthipedia isn't DR Future Past, and that style would be inconsistent with the hundreds of shop pages that are already online. We archive what most people are interested in knowing: shop location, shop type, room description, items, and prices. |

We archive what most people are interested in knowing: shop location, shop type, room description, items, and prices. I don't think that too many people are interested in reading fluff descriptions of shelves, and I think that the interest of maintaining a clean-looking page outweighs the interest of posting paragraph-long shelf descriptions in the ShopHeader block. If you really want to post the descriptions of the shelves, post them under their own header ("Shop Aethetics") at the bottom of the article. It's not integrated, but it keeps the useful section easy to read while archiving information that may be of some interest to a few players. --Isharon 06:07, 17 May 2011 (UTC) |

:::Elanthipedia is "A collaborative project with the mission of indexing and archiving as much information about the online text-based rpg DragonRealms as possible." The descriptions fall under that, and it's been done for other pages. I, for example, included the descriptions and atmospheric messages on the various Misenseor Goods pages, and it wasn't and issue there. It's also more recently been done for the War and Craft (2) page. I'll add them in as a shop footnote template rather than shop header so that the description isn't bolded right at the top. --Thilan 19:06, 18 May 2011 (UTC) |

We don't need the look of every shelf in the shop -- it makes the page too cluttered. ----Isharon 02:49, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

- Elanthipedia isn't DR Future Past, and that style would be inconsistent with the hundreds of shop pages that are already online. --Isharon 06:07, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
