The Warding page type is::skill is a planned new magic skill. It will most likely be grandfathered in some manner, but all of this is subject to change. |

Warding is one of the new magic skills, which gauges your ability to successfully use barrier spells and abilities. It is the primary skill taken into account when casting spells like Ethereal Shield, Manifest Force, etc. See the Magic page for details on how to best train Warding. |

The Warding skill will be substituted for Primary Magic skill when activating a character's abilities that are defenses against the supernatural. This includes barriers against magic or 'dispellation' type effects. It will be learned on activation of the defense and not when a hostile supernatural attack contests the defense, but will not play a role in the actual defending contest. |
