|look=The book is so completely wrapped by the chains that any writing on the cover is completely obscured.  A series of latches, one upon each chain, allows them to be severed so that the book can open.  However, the chains appear to be firmly affixed to the covers so that they cannot be completely removed.  One black chain dangles down, a loop at the end allowing the book to be worn.
