It is not. The exp gain for the student is based on (a) the teacher's skill in {{PRel|Teaching skill|teaching}} modified by stats, (b) the student's {{PRel|Scholarship skill|scholarship}} modified by stats, and (c) whether the teacher knows more or less than the student.

It's as simple as that, really.

There is a cap, but it is a simple constant based on X bits per Y seconds, something we typically do with all experience game that doesn't involve roundtimes.
