It's with great pleasure that I can announce the next (And nearly last!) phase of DR3 testing. We've opened the Test Instance up for all players, and everybody can log in and experience DR3. This has been in Plat for about 6 weeks now, and the goal of this test is to give you a chance to get a feel for the changes before they go live in Prime. Most of the bugs have been worked out, so this is your chance to test it out with your character so that you're knowledgeable about the changes that are happening.<br>

There are a few things you need to know about DR3 before you get started:<br>

First, there's a whole lot of documentation available at http://www.sebeni.us/public/dr3/changes.html . These documents are being moved to Elanthipedia as we speak, but this is the right place to go for them right now. Before you log into the Test instance, I strongly encourage you to read these documents. Many questions will be answered in those documents, and with the large number of people testing, knowing the answers will help reduce the noise as we answer your questions.<br>

Second, in DRT, CHATTER (a gamewide discussion channel) is turned on. If you find a bug, please use CHATTER to report it - We'll have GMs monitoring DRT most of the time, so we can probably fix it on the fly. Please do not file bugs using the BUG verb - Instead, use CHATTER, or if there aren't GMs on, please use the forums here.<br>

Third, please remember that the point of testing is togive you a chance to try the changes out before they go live, and to find any niggling bugs - Please don't use the CHATTER channel as a soapbox for complaining or being obnoxious. Doing so will result in removal of your CHATTER privileges and possible testing privileges.<br>

Fourth, '''magic is on global preview right now.''' This means that you do NOT have to learn spells from the guildleader to cast them - It's as if you know all of your guild's spells at all times. This lets you get a feel for the spells and an understanding of how they work. Barbarian abilities are NOT on global preview, but unlearning them is immediate and very cheap so you can experiment. You'll need to speak to a guildleader to learn these abilities.<br>

Finally, if a GM tells you to stop doing something, PLEASE stop doing it immediately. This means there's something bad going on with what you're doing, and that doing it is causing problems. The faster you stop, the fast we can fix it.<br>

Oh, and one last thing - What happens in Test stays in Test. Your character is ported straight from Prime the first time you log into Test, and after that they are two completely different characters. Whatever circles you gain, skills you learn, money you gain, etc in Test will be erased when we wipe the Test characters.<br>
