You can't overlook getting stunned whenever you attack a living thing, I don't think. And if you want to compare fully {{PRel|Empathic Shock|shocked}} Empaths with Necromancers, then the comparison doesn't hold nearly so well. (No more [[Guardian Spirit|alfar]], no more [[manipulate]], no more [[FoC]] or [[Regeneration|Regen]], etc, automatic 33% potency reduction to healing spells, and so on.)
