You have obviously not understood a thing I have posted. In 3.0 armor protects regardless of your skill. It protects better if your skill is closer to the offense of your enemy. Plate armor will protect better than chain will than cloth.

Armor users are making out very well with this change. There is no reason to wear any armor at a point in Combat 2.0. Honestly, the criticals do 1200 damage to a player that has less than 100 vitality.
