Without using one, the most uses the brown jar can have is 50, and infuser stones will not work.  After using a potency crystal, infuser stones can be used to increase the uses remaining up to 1000.<br>

You can use a potency crystal to unlock the ability to use infuser stones to add more uses to the brown jar.<br>

Infuser Stone:<br>
Infuser stones used on the brown jar can add 100 uses per stone used.  This can only be done after a potency crystal has unlocked infuser stone usage.<br>
