The Life of Truffenyi: Hodierna

As you cross the Moongate's threshold you are drawn through to the other side...

[An Ancient Tree, Hodierna's Solace]

More a platform than a room, the chamber is lit softly by the glow of hundreds of candles that have been carefully set into niches along the walls. The leaves of the tree's crown block out the night sky, creating a naturally woven canopy that protects the tiny room from the wind and elements. A circular staircase that appears to be sculpted out of the sides of the tree leads back down, winding so far that you cannot see the bottom. You also see a blue Moongate, a glossy obsidian symbol and a small carved stone.

You strike a heroic pose.

Ezathiel places his hands on his thighs and bows deeply at the waist towards you, holding the position for a moment before returning upright.

Gragnel bows to Telamont.

Aerilia glances at a blue Moongate.

Crobin chuckles.

You say, "Skipping stairs."

Leayne smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Leilanie beams at Telamont!

Leayne softly says, "Hello."

Aerilia says, "I suppose that beats the stairs.."

Ezathiel chuckles.

Vixith asks, "But how am I supposed to strengthen my gams if I don't climb stairs?"

Gragnel says, "Good, good. Some wonderful faces to see here today."

You nod in agreement.

Gragnel says to Crobin, "Yes, even you."

Crobin chuckles.

Leayne giggles at Gragnel.

Aerilia glances outside a moment.

Crobin says, "Good to see you as well sir."

Ildewyn says, "Heh."

Kilenti smiles.

You exclaim, "Hello everyone!"

Ezathiel pleasantly exclaims, "Hello!"

Crobin says, "Howdy."

You say, "We will get started in just a few roisaen."

Ectheleon exclaims, "This tree!!"

Leayne giggles.

Ectheleon bounces around happily.

Gragnel says, "Good, good. More of the faithful."

Gragnel beams!

You giggle at Ectheleon.

Leilanie says to Ectheleon, "Glad you can make it, Sunshine."

Ectheleon hugs Leilanie, getting a smile in return.

Gragnel exclaims, "Praise Hodierna! Such a good crowd!"

You grin.

Vythlak appears from the long hike up the stairs and flops down on the floor.

You giggle at Vythlak.

Leilanie smiles at Ectheleon.

Ectheleon exclaims, "I could live here if it didn't bother Hodierna!"

Gragnel pats Vythlak on the back.

Vythlak nods to Gragnel.

Vythlak pants.

Vythlak stands up.

Ectheleon says, "Ooooh, and the class choices."

Ectheleon ponders.

Telamont begins to listen to you teach the Sorcery skill.

Gragnel says to you, "Perfect for the occasion."

Gragnel begins to listen to you teach the Sorcery skill.

You nod to Gragnel.

Gragnel nods to you.

Seihjin says to Ectheleon, "You know what you need to do."

You say, "Let us see if i remember to stop teaching before running through town."

Ectheleon says to Seihjin, "Listen to all of them at once and faint from the wealth of knowledge."

You wink at Gragnel.

Avrenka appears from the long hike up the stairs and flops down on the floor.

Vythlak grins at you.

Gragnel says to you, "I'll do my best to remind ya."

Ectheleon chuckles at you!

Aerilia pats Avrenka on the back.

Avrenka smiles.

* Truffenyi's Prophet Unaka joins the adventure.

Gragnel says to you, "If not, like you care about some silly fine. Pfffffft."

You say, "I may or may not have gotten a few folk jailed that way."

Unaka appears from the long hike up the stairs and flops down on the floor.

(Ectheleon tries not to smile as he imagines Zynell dragging a flock of people through the city, raising alarms as she spreads the teachings of sorcery.)

You playfully tilt your ears in opposite directions.

Unaka says, "Hey. Oof, that climb."

Gragnel exclaims to Unaka, "Oh, hey! It's me, Gragnel, your friend! Over here!"

Ectheleon exclaims to Unaka, "This tree though!"

Ectheleon beams!

Ectheleon bounces around happily.

You say, "Everyone who used the stairs got to pretend to be a cleric for a few roisaen."

Unaka waves.

You say, "Good practice."

Karthor asks Unaka, "How many steps did ya take at a time? Three, four?"

You giggle.

Vythlak laughs at you!

Ectheleon laughs at you!

Avrenka asks, "Is there a different way to get up here?"

Unaka asks Karthor, "Is six too many?"

You say, "Moongate."

Karthor grins.

Aerilia says, "Some people cheated and took a moongate."

You nod to Avrenka.

Avrenka chuckles.

You snuggle up to Telamont, wrapping your arms lovingly around him.

Avrenka says, "I should've thought of that."

You say to Aerilia, "That would be me."

You nod.

Vythlak says, "Bah, missing out on thanking the gods for giving us legs and lungs doing it that way."

Mistanna chuckles.

You giggle.

Aerilia grins at you.

Telamont says, "I did."

Avrenka says, "Didn't think there were so many stairs."

Karthor says to Unaka, "Color me impressed. About all I could manage was two, an' even that was a stretch."

Aerilia says to you, "It was smart."

Unaka says to Karthor, "Long legs."

Avrenka says, "Definitely teleporting my way out."

Karthor nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.

Leayne softly says, "I'm not leaving."

Unaka says, "But one of the things I love most about civilization is that everybody brings something different."

Crobin chuckles.

Avrenka grins at Leayne.

You giggle.

Crobin says, "I like the idea of a moongate myself."

Zynell

You say, "It is time."

You nod.

You say, "Welcome to the Life of Truffenyi event."

Ezathiel gazes at you.

You say, "These events are specifically designed to encourage the presence of the Immortals on this plane."

Unaka fixes you with a heavy, ponderous stare.

Telamont says, "I will have a gate back to crossing when done."

You say, "A happy side effect is that your local clerics get to experiment with their clericing methods in a semi relaxed environment."

You look around, trying to appear nonchalant.

You also see a frosty observer manifested as ripples radiating across a watery globe, a frosty observer manifested as a twisted ouroboros of frigid air, a frosty observer manifested as a sequence of ceaselessly falling raindrops, a glossy obsidian symbol and a small carved stone.

Also here: Mipsy who is lying down, Lorenia, Truffenyi's Prophet Unaka, Mathematician Avrenka, Vythlak, Citizen Miraeven who is emanating a bright holy aura, Ectheleon, Soultaken Ildewyn, Emily, Reverend Gragnel, Valta Varna Mistanna, Roelan, Gypsy Amabalis, Fury's Touch Rejind, Healer Leilanie, Crypt Guardian Relay who is shrouded in ghostly flames, Vixith, Soye Sanborroc Seihjin who has a stony visage, Bastion of Life Karthor, Shosari, Kilenti, Healer Aerilia, Druid Siveril, Dzive Asini Leayne, Fearless Crobin, Shadow Mage Telamont, Legendary Cleric Mazilyn who is emanating a bright holy aura and Ezathiel.

You say, "Semi relaxed."

You nod.

You say, "We also get to hear from our devoted non clerical folk which is always a treat."

Leayne softly says, "Not relaxed yet."

Crobin rubs Leayne gently, massaging her muscles.

You say, "Sometimes as clerics we get very clericy."

Ectheleon chuckles.

You say, "Seeing such diversity encourages us to do even better for our community."

Unaka settles into an easy yet alert stance, holding her hands within the sleeves of her robe as she listens.

You say, "This diversity is what i would like to touch on in a broader scope."

You nod.

Leayne softly says, "Thank ou."

You say, "Each and every one of you has a different relationship with the immortals."

Gragnel nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

You say, "Some of you may be confused as to why you are following them."

Leayne sighs.

You say, "Some may find it very transactional. Which i have clericy thoughts as to why that might be the case, but it is still a very valid perspective."

Leayne softly asks, "Good vodka?"

You say, "Some of you may be cursing them as of late for various reasons."

You say, "Some of you may be following and helping where you can out of obligation."

You say, "Some of you may be wondering if your chosen immortal or immortals is right for you."

Shosari raises an eyebrow in your direction.

You say, "Some of us may be continuously reminded why we follow the immortals we do."

Lorenia smirks.

You say, "And frankly, some of you may not have given them this much thought."

You grin mischievously.

You say, "But it is alright. Perspectives are changeable and diverse."

Vixith smiles at Avrenka.

You nod.

Ectheleon nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

You bow your head and say in a hushed voice, "Damaris, guard and protect the children this night."

You say, "The immortals are just as diverse."

Gragnel nods in agreement.

You say, "My hope for all of you."

You say, "My hope for everyone really..."

A nightingale sings from somewhere nearby.

You say, "Is that you find the immortal or immortals that work with your life."

You grin.

Kilenti nods in agreement.

You say, "They do not always show up as vibrantly as they do in our recent visions."

Vythlak smiles.

Ezathiel smiles.

You say, "But i can tell you that Damaris shows up for me in small ways."

Gragnel says, "And me."

You say, "The exploding box that reminds me to appreciate the surprises of life."

You nod at Gragnel, in complete agreement with his views.

You say, "The devout followers that have improved my life in ways i can only be grateful for."

Grinning, you curl your tail around Telamont's waist loosely.

You say, "The continued love and protection each time i look into the Void for your souls. It is with his love, protection, and power along with Hodierna s approval that I return your souls to this realm."

Telamont smiles at you.

You say, "Most recently i was thinking about how i had questions for a bard."

Ectheleon peers quizzically at you.

You exclaim, "I walked into empath and there before me was one of the most prolific bardesses in the realms. She had even forgotten why she was there in the first place!"

You say, "But if you ask me, Damaris nudged her to the guild so we could cross paths and i could have my questions answered."

Leayne smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

You playfully tilt your ears in opposite directions.

Aerilia smiles.

Crobin grins mischievously before leaning over to lick Leayne.

You say, "While many other ways are smaller, the hidden treasure, the good deal in the plaza, the owl in the Dark Grove hooting after i ask if i am on the right path."

You say, "Sometimes it does not hoot or it hoots in a why would you think this is a good idea tone."

You say, "Yes there is a difference in hoots."

Gragnel snickers.

You gaze off into the distance blankly.

Avrenka chortles softly at some secret joke.

You shake your head.

Vythlak grins at you.

You say, "Part of being a cleric is being slightly crazy and being open to listening for the subtle directions."

Karthor chuckles.

You shrug.

Gragnel says, "The grove gives signs, I've witnessed it. We're not both crazy."

You say, "And stairs."

Gragnel folds his arms across his chest.

You say, "Most of you have an immortal who is subtly impacting your life. It may or may not be the one you expect or the one with whom you gather favor."

The sweet scent of flowers fills the chamber.

You say, "Meraud is very popular, but there are a lot of different types of magic, some of which have other immortals who are aligned better."

Gragnel just nudged Crobin.

You say, "Hodierna happens to be more aligned with life and empathing."

You say, "But there are empaths who grew up with Damaris protection, Truffenyi s love, and who find the peaceful death in Eylhaar more appealing."

Aerilia smiles.

Gragnel gives you a slight nod.

You say, "All these words are said to make the very simple point."

You say, "There is no singular way to follow the immortals."

You say, "There is diversity in faith. There is diversity in devotion. There is diversity in life."

You say, "My only recommendation is that you find the immortal or immortals that work with your life."

Madigan says to Crobin, "Thanks LT."

You say, "These may change, they may stay the same."

You say, "You are not obligated. Life changes. Your immortal choices can change with it."

Aerilia cranes her neck down as she gazes at the circular staircase, gulping.

You say, "Though my immortal choice has not changed, my life has definitely taken a variety of turns."

You giggle.

Leayne giggles at Aerilia.

Ectheleon chuckles.

You say, "These have led me to seek knowledge on Eylhaar, Demons, and Tenemlor to name a very few."

Roelan smiles.

Aerilia grins at Leayne.

You say, "The results have made me a more informed person, given me more perspective into the life of an immortal, and overall improved my theological development."

Lorenia gazes at you.

Ezathiel gazes at you.

Leayne nods to Crobin.

Vythlak nods to you.

You say, "My hope is that you feel empowered to learn, to experiment, and most importantly to live in harmony with your immortals."

You look around, trying to appear nonchalant.

A circular staircase that appears to be sculpted out of the sides of the tree leads back down, winding so far that you cannot see the bottom. You also see a frosty observer manifested as an infinitely rolling wave, a frosty observer manifested as ripples radiating across a watery globe, a frosty observer manifested as a twisted ouroboros of frigid air, a glossy obsidian symbol and a small carved stone.

Also here: Mipsy, Lorenia, Truffenyi's Prophet Unaka, Mathematician Avrenka, Vythlak, Citizen Miraeven who is emanating a bright holy aura, Ectheleon, Soultaken Ildewyn, Emily, Reverend Gragnel, Valta Varna Mistanna, Roelan, Gypsy Amabalis who is sitting, Fury's Touch Rejind, Healer Leilanie who is sitting, Crypt Guardian Relay who is shrouded in ghostly flames, Vixith, Soye Sanborroc Seihjin who has a stony visage, Bastion of Life Karthor, Shosari, Kilenti, Healer Aerilia, Druid Siveril, Dzive Asini Leayne, Fearless Crobin, Shadow Mage Telamont, Legendary Cleric Mazilyn and Ezathiel who is sitting.

You say, "If you have a question or have a crisis of faith, I am always, always happy to discuss with you who might fit with your lifestyle. And no, Damaris is not my first suggestion for MOST folk."

Ectheleon laughs!

Vythlak chuckles at you!

Gragnel covers his mouth with his hand.

You playfully tilt your ears in opposite directions.

Gragnel gazes off into the distance.

Vythlak mutters something into the air about the booze though.

You pat Gragnel on the back.

Crobin says, "3 out of 5 aint bad."

You say, "Speaking of our diversity in life and immortals, I would like to invite our next speaker to come forward."

Crobin nods to you.

You say, "If you would like to be added to our list of speakers, please whisper me."

Gragnel

You nod to Gragnel.

Gragnel nods to you.

Vythlak lets out a hearty cheer for Gragnel!

Ezathiel gazes at Gragnel.

Moonlight, dappled and mysterious, plays over the floor.

Gragnel smiles as he steps forward, turns, and faces the crowd.

Gragnel gets a pitted iron comb from inside his leather longcoat.

Gragnel runs his iron comb through his hair.

Gragnel runs his iron comb through his hair.

Gragnel puts his comb in his leather longcoat.

Gragnel dusts himself off.

Gragnel smiles broadly at the gathered faces, politely meeting each gaze quickly before moving to the next.

Unaka says to you, "I would like to speak, in turn."

Gragnel loudly says, "Greetings, one and all. If we've not met by now, I am the esteemed Reverend Gragnel Durbin."

You nod to Unaka.

Gragnel confidentially says, "I am a Disciple of the great and powerful, beautiful and terrifying, mysterious and magical, fearsome and frightening, my dark lord of the Thirteen... Lord Damaris, the Panther."

Leayne smiles at Gragnel, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Gragnel lightly touches his panther pin as he says a quick prayer.

Gragnel traces an outline around a black leather longcoat decorated in homage to Damaris.

Amabalis appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Crobin smiles.

Gragnel matter-of-factly says, "But, only an idiot would ignore the Thirty-Nine in their entirety. And, Momma Durbin didn't raise an idiot for a son."

Gragnel shakes his head.

Gragnel says, "Nope."

Ectheleon bursts out in a sudden snort of laughter.

Gragnel shakes his head.

Ezathiel chuckles.

Gragnel loudly asks, "Today, as with most days, I have prepared something to say. Big surprise, right?"

Gragnel smirks.

You gasp at Gragnel!

Leayne grins, revealing her dimples.

Gragnel confidentially says, "I think by now everyone knows how much I really do enjoy the sound of my own voice."

Gragnel grins wryly.

Crobin chuckles.

Crobin says, "Very."

Gragnel nods at Crobin, obviously agreeing with his views.

Karthor chuckles.

Gragnel adjusts his silver spectacles into place.

Gragnel clears his throat.

Crobin winks at Gragnel.

Gragnel recites:

"When we awake each day, it is you whom we give thanks to.
Goddess of the morning and of light, Lady Hodierna.
Your majestic unicorn of the purest unblemished white stands strong and true.
What crops would be harvested without your steady hand to guide it?
What first sun's ray greeting the new Spring day would be complete without you?"

Leilanie appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Ectheleon chuckles at Crobin.

Gragnel recites:

"Loving and kind, Lady Hodierna,
We ask that you please hear our voices as we lift them up unto you.
Gentle and graceful, Lady Hodierna,
We ask that you please see our displays and find them worthy of your glorious name.
We pray all these things in reverence of your holy divinity.
Please be strengthed by the faith of the faithful."

Gragnel nods.

Gragnel thankfully says, "I appreciate your time today, folks."

Gragnel bows.

You grin at Gragnel.

Gragnel comes and stands near you.

Ectheleon smiles at Gragnel.

Mistanna nods to Gragnel.

Vythlak

Vythlak coughs.

Vythlak confidently says, "Hello everyone. For those who do not know me, I am Vythlak, Cleric of Phelim."

Unaka nods to Gragnel.

Vythlak says, "Today is a good day. Like the other days before, and those yet to come. It is a good day, because we are here and, as always, in the embrace of the Immortals."

Mazilyn beams at Vythlak!

Ezathiel gazes at Vythlak.

Vythlak says, "We are here, however, on this particular day to worship Hodierna. The lady of light, renewal, and healing."

Vythlak murmurs something under his breath you cannot quite hear, and seems to gain strength from it.

Gragnel nods at Vythlak, obviously agreeing with his views.

The glimmers of light above Unaka's head flicker and connect briefly.

Vythlak says, "As I was napping, asking Phelim for guidance and thoughts for my words today...."

Vythlak mutters something into the air about sorry Leilanie for drooling on your shoulder so much.

Vythlak says, "... it got me thinking about Asildu. That poor being abused by the Heralds."

Amabalis laughs!

Vythlak says, "There is, as I understand it, some division amongst the Temple about what to do with him."

Vythlak grumbles.

Lorenia smirks.

Vythlak says, "To me, in many ways, Hodierna is a goddess of forgiveness and extra chances."

Vythlak asks, "For what else is the spring time, than a period of renewal and regrowth?"

Gragnel nods.

Vythlak asks, "What is sunlight, but the return of the sun after giving way to the stars?"

Vythlak asks, "What is the sunlight, but giving grace to the stars at night?"

Vythlak dreamily murmurs a brief prayer to himself.

Vythlak says, "I know this may be an unpopular opinion, but at times we all make mistakes and have to live with them."

Vythlak asks, "But do not the gods gift us with the chance to redeem our failures and bring us back from death so we may try again?"

Gragnel nods.

Mazilyn mutters something into the air about nuh uh.

Unaka nods.

Vythlak powerfully asks, "Does it not do more for justice and the right cause to not just slay a foe, but instead to turn them from enemy to ally?"

Leilanie nods in agreement.

Ezathiel nods in agreement.

Vythlak inhales a great swallow of air.

Vythlak slowly empties his lungs.

Vythlak adjusts his lambswool stole into place.

Vythlak says, "My apologies for letting my emotions get the better of me."

Ezathiel ponders.

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"Blessings to the Goddess of the Crops
Blessings upon the wheat that grows
To brew the beer."

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"Blessings to the winter harvest
May those vittles tide us until the spring."

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"Blessings to the morning
And the light
For those make the stars shine brighter in the night."

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"Blessings to Truffenyi
For giving us forgiveness
And the chance to make amends."

Leilanie gazes down at the floor.

Aerilia smiles.

Vythlak chants in a baritone voice:

"Blessings to Phelim
The dreambringer
Bringer of the stars
For blessing our dreams."

Vythlak says, "Thank you for listening to my words."

(Vythlak steps back, a faint frown upon his face. He then gathers himself, smiles at everyone, and then nods after whistling the chirps of a nightingale.)

Gragnel nods to Vythlak.

Avrenka mumbles a word of general praise.

Ezathiel praises Vythlak.

The faint light above Unaka's head resolves into a slim and glowing halo.

Gragnel exclaims to Vythlak, "Bless the grapes for wine!"

Aerilia adds to Vythlak's praises.

Ectheleon smiles at Vythlak.

Unaka mumbles a word of general praise.

Gragnel smirks at Vythlak.

Vythlak grins at Gragnel.

Ezathiel grins at Gragnel.

You grin at Vythlak.

Gragnel drinks a portion of some sacramental wine.

Vythlak raises his hand in an imaginary toast.

You hear a distant but hearty chuckle as a flask of Glythtide's Favor appears in Vythlak's right hand!

Ectheleon

Ectheleon exclaims, "What wonderful words from Zynell, Gragnel, and Vythlak!"

Leayne nods.

Ectheleon exclaims, "Hail! I hope everyone is having a good time and enjoying the party so far! Today is a wonderful day to enjoy life and all the wonderful things that come with it!"

Ectheleon beams!

Ezathiel gazes at Ectheleon.

Gragnel glances outside a moment.

Ectheleon says, "After a few weeks of speaking I feel a bit more comfortable tonight. I want to take the opportunity to go back to my first speech and talk more from the heart than I have these last few parties."

You grin at Ectheleon.

Ectheleon smiles.

Vythlak softly says to Gragnel, "Must have done something right - have Glythtides' Favor."

Mazilyn nods emphatically.

Vythlak grins at Ectheleon.

Ectheleon says, "As some of you may know, I am young in life and really only getting my footing with things. I am grateful for the opportunity that these meetings have made for me personally so today will be a little bit about me."

Gragnel nods to Vythlak.

Ectheleon chuckles at Vythlak.

Ectheleon blushes, the tips of his ears turning a deep shade of red.

Ildewyn grins at Vythlak.

Ectheleon says, "I struggled early on in life on which guild I would join, a decision that you should not take lightly. My main driving force was to be a benefit to society so that I might meet and help those in need."

You perk up your ears happily as you gaze at Ectheleon.

Vythlak smiles at Ectheleon.

Ectheleon says, "As a not-so-theistic person I did not know if I would be able to live up to my perceptions of what it was to be a Cleric, but knew the possibility was there to be helpful."

Moonlight, dappled and mysterious, plays over the floor.

Leayne smiles at Ectheleon, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Ectheleon says, "My early days were spent learning the basics of living, like we all do. My early weeks found the struggles of praying and theurgy. And those early months found even more struggle in the quests required by my guildmaster."

Ectheleon sighs.

Ectheleon says, "I am not one to give up, and found that a second attempt was all that was needed for most hurdles. I pushed along and found courage that I would be of use some day."

Ectheleon says, "My first foray into meeting others from the guild was at a Cleric Corner where I met some folk, Zynell included."

Ectheleon grins at you.

You grin at Ectheleon.

Crobin nods.

Ectheleon says, "The meeting was in a wonderful tree where initial information was given, and the floor was opened to questions. I made a choice to ignore the fear and anxiety I felt, to find the courage to raise my hand and ask questions."

Ectheleon raises his hand.

Ectheleon exclaims, "Like today!"

Ectheleon says, "The meeting would end with a trial by fire. I had to purge my fear of failure and trepidation of raising someone when a moongate provided a hands-on learning experience."

Leilanie smiles at Ectheleon.

Ectheleon flails his arms about.

Aerilia smiles at Ectheleon.

Vythlak lets out a hearty cheer for Ectheleon!

Your ears straighten up smartly as you gaze at Ectheleon with pride.

Ectheleon slowly empties his lungs.

You say, "You did so well."

You nod.

Ectheleon exclaims, "Thanks!"

Ectheleon says, "While it did not erase all of my fears, it did start a path of learning for me that helped me feel more comfortable with the opportunities that are afforded to a Cleric."

Leayne smiles at Ectheleon, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Amabalis pats Ectheleon on the back.

Ectheleon says, "That first hump became a habit as I soon found my way into more events where I did my best to engage. That initial fear I felt then continues to ebb away now as I learn to enjoy more and more, and I find a growing number of people that I can call friends."

Ectheleon beams!

Ectheleon says, "I am here today to share my story for two main reasons: that you may find the courage to do what is hard and to challenge your preconceptions of things."

Leayne nods to Ectheleon.

Ectheleon nods.

Gragnel exclaims, "Glad to call you friend as well!"

Mazilyn beams at Ectheleon!

Gragnel nods.

Ectheleon smiles at Gragnel.

Crobin pats Ectheleon on the back.

Ectheleon says, "If I did not find the courage to raise my hand that first meeting, I am not sure I would be where I am today. The difficulty of getting over the first hurdle may be all you need or maybe you just need someone with strong hands willing to take you places."

Ectheleon glances at you.

Ectheleon says, "Had I let my idea of what it means to be a Cleric hold me fast, I may never have grown. Challenging your own prejudices can be worth it when the result can be a host of new things to enjoy outside of your current comfort zone."

Ectheleon nods.

Vythlak grins at Ectheleon.

You gaze at your claws.

The halo above Unaka's head turns gently, emitting an even golden light.

Leayne looks over Crobin very closely.

Crobin grins mischievously before leaning over to lick Leayne.

Avrenka mumbles a word of general praise.

Ectheleon says, "So please, take my words and my story for what they may be worth. Think on them, think on yourself, and think on those around you."

Shosari glances at you.

Leilanie beams at Ectheleon!

You smile at Ectheleon.

Vythlak praises Ectheleon.

Ectheleon says, "As we move forward with our speakers I hope that you find happiness in your thoughts, freedom in your choices, and friends that encourage you to be better in life."

(Crobin holds his hand up to block some of the shine from the halo)

Ectheleon smiles.

Unaka fixes Ectheleon with a heavy, ponderous stare.

Ectheleon bows his head in acknowledgement.

Gragnel nods to Ectheleon.

Aerilia looks at Ectheleon and applauds!

Vixith jots down some notes.

Amabalis giggles at Crobin.

Vythlak pats Ectheleon on the back.

Unaka glances at Crobin.

Unaka says to Crobin, "Sorry."

Ectheleon accepts Vythlak's Glythtide's Favor.

Crobin says, "It is alright."

Vythlak grins at Crobin.

Crobin says, "Getting use to it."

Crobin smiles at Unaka.

Mazilyn

You nod to Mazilyn.

Avrenka grins at Crobin.

Ghust quietly says, "Ow."

Mazilyn beams!

Ectheleon smiles at Unaka.

Ectheleon chuckles at Ghust.

Mazilyn bounces around happily.

Mazilyn recites:

"Hi! I'm Mazilyn, Cleric of Truffenyi!
I happen to be a big fan of life
Unicorns are also pretty"

Mazilyn waves.

Gragnel beams at Mazilyn!

Unaka grins at Ghust.

Vythlak chuckles at Mazilyn.

Kilenti nods in agreement.

Leayne gives Crobin a gentle poke in the ribs.

Mazilyn recites:

"Over the last while we have gotten blessed with a lot of visions
I think some of those are relevant as we discuss civilization and life"

Avrenka smiles at Mazilyn.

Crobin makes a grunting noise.

Mazilyn recites:

"In a lot of the visions life has started small
More greenery and darkness than civilization
But life has a way of developing what it needs"

Mazilyn recites:

"Fires sprouted up more and more in the darkness
Greenery became structures, hubs of people gathering together
But life has a way of being interesting"

Gragnel nods.

Mazilyn recites:

"In another vision they got bored of watching the interlopers
And when they looked back to us, civilizations had sprouted
Life has a way of making us proud"

Mazilyn beams!

Mazilyn recites:

"We built more, we praised more, we respected the immortals
The immortals have shown us in several visions how they have directly influenced life
Life has a way of being magical"

Ezathiel gazes thoughtfully at Mazilyn.

Mazilyn waggles her fingers mystically at Gragnel. How nice.

Mazilyn recites:

"Magic at our fingertips and all the world to explore
Yet still we find a way to alienate others.
Life has a way of being lonely"

Gragnel grins at Mazilyn.

Mazilyn recites:

"Cruelty and spite, mistrust and deceit lurk in the backs of minds
Easy to manipulate and grudges are far too easy to hold
But life has a way of being surprising"

Unaka's halo continues to grow brighter, shining like a beacon, its light bathing the leaves in the canopy above.

Vythlak gazes off into the distance.

Mazilyn recites:

"Truffenyi teaches us that we can let go of the malice and embrace forgiveness
We don't have to forget, but we can learn to live with civility and respect
Life has a way of being."

Vythlak smiles at Mazilyn.

Mazilyn recites:

"I hope that we can find that way of being together."

Ezathiel praises Mazilyn.

Ildewyn sighs and says a soft prayer to herself.

Relay

You nod to Relay.

Relay smiles at Mazilyn.

Gragnel looks at Mazilyn and applauds!

Gragnel drinks a portion of some sacramental wine.

Ectheleon lets out a hearty cheer for Mazilyn!

Relay says, "Hello. I am Relay."

Ildewyn nods to Mazilyn.

Ezathiel gazes at Relay.

Mazilyn beams at Relay!

Ildewyn gazes silently at Relay.

Unaka smiles at Ectheleon.

Ectheleon smiles at Relay.

Relay says, "I have just a few words, and a simple question..."

Ezathiel cocks his head.

Gragnel observes Relay with fascination.

Relay asks, "What is life?"

Kilenti ponders.

The sweet scent of flowers fills the chamber.

Relay recites:

"Life is a gift
Most live it in a box, a house, a mindset, a tradition
The gift most squandered"

Relay recites:

"Life is an adventure
Most explore just the basics, sports, crafts, booze
The excitement most declined"

Mazilyn gazes at Relay.

Relay recites:

"Life is a mystery
Most never ask the questions, how, why, what
The knowledge most secret"

Relay recites:

"Life is a moment
Most forget the time, worthless memories, unfulfilled
The existence most uneventful"

Relay recites:

"Life is the best
When, and only when
All things are rendered unto Urrem tier"

Ezathiel nods in agreement.

Relay nods.

You cackle!

Gragnel nods to Relay.

Relay says, "Thank you."

Unaka chuckles.

Crobin nods.

Aerilia smiles quickly.

Leayne takes a sip of her wine.

Kilenti nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

You nod to Relay.

Vythlak smiles at Relay.

Gragnel says, "And it is so."

Mazilyn asks Relay, "Do you need a hug?"

Ezathiel chuckles.

Mazilyn stands near Relay.

Gragnel says, "Unaka gives the best hugs, just sayin."

Gragnel hums to himself.

Ghust nods in agreement.

Unaka's halo pulses, glowing brilliantly.

Unaka grins at Gragnel.

Relay smirks.

Roelan nods to you.

Ghust quietly says, "Thats a really pretty halo."

Roelan

You nod to Roelan.

Roelan drapes a royal-blue cloak depicting a proud unicorn standing in a field of jadice flowers around his shoulders.

Unaka says to Ghust, "Thanks. Feels really bright right now."

Ectheleon says to Ghust, "The leaves look pretty in the light from it."

Roelan says, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen."

Roelan says, ". I am a cleric of Hodierna and I have asked to come to speak to you about all the wonderful things about Hodierna."

Gragnel beams at Roelan!

Unaka mumbles a word of general praise.

You perk up your ears happily.

Leayne smiles at Roelan, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Roelan says, "Life as you have heard all this evening is because of Her."

Ezathiel smiles at Roelan.

Unaka nods to you.

Roelan says, "Few have seen me before, in their most dire hour of need between living, the Void, and the Starry Road. It is true that the gift of resurrection is often assumed by many, but not by me. For every resurrection that Hodierna gifts to me, I always ask the fallen warriors, adventurers, and citizens alike to seek Her favor. She provides the life upon which return was granted. And while some focus on the speedy restoration, I prefer to ask for Her blessing so she knows that I do not take life for granted."

Vythlak grunts at Roelan.

Ezathiel nods in agreement.

Roelan says, "Hodierna is one that is about life, and the healing of others. For me, and other clerics, we can commune with Her to help stop the flow of blood from our wounds. She needs us to seek her life warriors of the land: the empaths."

Gragnel nods to Roelan.

Karthor strikes a heroic pose.

Leayne smiles at Roelan, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Ildewyn grins at Karthor.

Avrenka winks.

Leilanie smiles.

Roelan says, "Each time I visit the altar, to clean, to gain favor, I am blessed by the feeling of the unicorn as it hovers."

Leayne nods to Roelan.

Roelan says, "The unicorn, pristine white, with a silver mane, and hooves that outshine the stars comes to me as I resurrect others."

Ryeka says, "Long climb."

Ectheleon nods in agreement.

Unaka's halo brightens, emitting a blinding golden light! You can also hear a faint hum.

You sense an odd, unprecedented torsion in the mana streams. It slowly passes.

Ildewyn tilts her head inquisitively.

Ryeka blinks.

Roelan says, "And while the battle continues to rage against those that would imprison, restrain, and suffocate our existence, I woud say onto each of you...."

Ghust quietly says, "Pretty hum. Its only faint but its pretty."

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Vythlak smiles at Ryeka.

Gragnel raises an eyebrow in Roelan's direction.

Roelan says, "....to seek out Hodierna's love and favor. For an offering upon her altars, any healing herb, remedy, unicorn primers, Immortal Hodierna cards, or unicorn shaped bead can be laid upon it. Seek your favors to help us find your spirit and guide you from The Void should you fall in battle."

Ryeka rubs her eyes.

You grin at Roelan.

Ghust quietly says, "Forgot ta bring somethin."

Leilanie smiles at Roelan.

Leilanie mumbles a word of general praise.

Roelan says, "Life is because she wills it, not because we choose it."

Moonlight, dappled and mysterious, plays over the floor.

Roelan says, "May She visit each of you in your dreams."

Vythlak dreamily murmurs a brief prayer to himself.

Roelan quietly says, "Thank you."

Miraeven ponders.

Ryeka says, "Left from the time before the blight came and destriyed the herbs still out."

Ildewyn ponders disappearing 'Togs.

Ryeka winks.

You say, "Before we continue with our speakers, i would like to remind everyone that if you would like to say a few words, please let me now so we can add you to the list."

Unaka appears from the long hike up the stairs and flops down on the floor.

You nod to Crobin.

Ghust quietly says, "Not sure how ta offer somethin."

Crobin

Crobin smiles at you.

Crobin says, "Howdy do all."

Crobin says, "I am sure most of you know me."

Gragnel pats Unaka on the back.

Aerilia smiles at Crobin.

Leayne grins at Crobin, her dimples flashing into view.

Avrenka waves to Crobin.

Mazilyn nods at Crobin, obviously agreeing with his views.

Crobin says, "If not I am Crobin a humble thief and all around event goer."

Unaka stands up.

Crobin says, "Not one for public speaking...but figured why not."

Unaka just left.

Ezathiel gazes at Crobin.

Crobin says, "Seems I broke the Tog."

Unaka appears from the long hike up the stairs and flops down on the floor.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Avrenka chortles softly at some secret joke.

Ezathiel chortles softly at some secret joke.

You grin at Crobin.

Ectheleon laughs at Crobin.

Gragnel says to Unaka, "Cleric stuff involves a lot of stairs a lot of the time. Here, the Temple, Aesry... Gotta do some rowing out on Aesry, too. Such a pain."

Crobin asks, "Need a moment Unaka?"

Miraeven gazes at Unaka.

Unaka says, "Nah, I'm all right."

Crobin chuckles.

Crobin says, "As I was saying."

The sweet scent of flowers fills the chamber.

Crobin says, "Nice to meet you all."

Ryeka chuckles.

Unaka stands up.

Gragnel says, "If I never see another currach in my whole life, I could be a happier man."

Gragnel nods.

Leayne blinks in amazement at Crobin.

Ryeka grins at Gragnel, her dimples flashing into view.

Ghust quietly says, "Be back."

Crobin says, "So when I was younger I was running through the woods trying to make my way to Crossing to get away from those who had enslaved me."

Ezathiel gazes at Crobin.

Kilenti gazes silently at Crobin.

Vythlak frowns.

You nod to Crobin.

Crobin says, "While doing so I leaned against a tree to catch my breath and collect my thoughts."

Leilanie knits her eyebrows together in a thoughtful frown.

Ectheleon gazes at Crobin.

Crobin says, "During this time I wasn't paying attention and those who were after me had caught up and fired some arrows at me."

Crobin says, "I was not fast enough to dodge out of the way on my own."

Karthor mutters something into the air about arrows.

Crobin says, "But a large black panther jumped from the trees and clawed my chest knocking me out of the way."

Ectheleon gasps!

Ezathiel raises an eyebrow.

Karthor scratches his head.

Crobin says, "I still wear the armor with the claw marks to this day."

Ezathiel gives Crobin a studious look, as if committing him to memory.

Vythlak gazes at Crobin.

Crobin says, "But as I finally got to Crossing I had no idea who Damaris was, or what he represented."

Your ears relax slightly as you gaze at Crobin contentedly.

Ildewyn looks over Crobin very closely.

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Ghust quietly says, "Ahm jus gonna...lay here.....fer a moment."

Crobin says, "But as I grew in the circles of the guild I had taken for myself I started to have problems with the immortals."

Ectheleon pats Ghust on the back.

Unaka grins at Ghust.

Ectheleon peers quizzically at Crobin.

Ryeka grins, revealing her dimples.

Crobin says, "Had thoughts and ponders of why they acted the way they did, when the did, and how they did."

Crobin says, "For a long time I stopped believing."

Crobin says, "Wasn't until a while back I sat down with Zyn and had a small talk about the Immortals and she spoke to me about how they work, and why the work."

Crobin says, "If I am nothing else I can be a bit hard headed."

You smile at Crobin.

Crobin says, "So one talk was not enough."

Ryeka chortles softly at some secret joke.

Leayne giggles.

Gragnel smirks at Crobin.

Ectheleon begins chortling at Crobin.

Karthor chuckles.

You say, "As many as you need."

Gragnel says, "You said it, not us."

The sweet scent of flowers fills the chamber.

You perk up your ears happily as you gaze at Crobin.

Ryeka winks at you.

Aerilia smiles.

Gragnel just nudged Crobin.

Mistanna chuckles.

Ildewyn raises an eyebrow in Crobin's direction.

Avrenka chuckles.

Crobin says, "So we sat down again and she spoke again about the Immortals and then I started to go to a few sermons and other gatherings."

Crobin says, "Though long winded, they all had views on how the immortals worked, and why."

Ectheleon chuckles.

Gragnel asks you, "Is he talking about me?"

Unaka says, "Good Clerical work."

Unaka nods.

Gragnel sighs.

Leayne grins at Gragnel, her dimples flashing into view.

Gragnel's shoulders bow as if under some great burden.

Crobin says, "And with time I understood how Damaris worked, and I feel why that panther pushed me out of the way."

Ectheleon laughs at Unaka.

Crobin asks, "Am I saying Damaris saved me that day?"

You say to Gragnel, "We can roshambo later for it."

Crobin says, "No...but I am saying that it was a sign that pushed me into his shadows and to follow him."

Crobin says, "And what I say to all of you."

Gragnel grins at you.

Crobin says, "Though you may not know who to follow at all times."

Crobin says, "Don't give up...trust your feelings, and when in doubt speak with a cleric and have them talk about whoo they are and what they are."

You nod at Crobin, in complete agreement with his views.

Kilenti smiles at Crobin.

Gragnel nods to Crobin.

Vythlak praises Crobin.

Ghust looks at Crobin and applauds!

Crobin says, "The truth will come to you on its own, and you will understand who you sohuld follow, and why."

Crobin nods to you.

Crobin stands near Leayne.

Ezathiel praises Crobin.

Ectheleon looks at Crobin and applauds!

Aerilia applauds.

Leayne looks at Crobin and applauds!

You gaze into Crobin's eyes and applaud him heartily.

Vythlak softly asks you, "Wait a second, we can just talk with people and not make them go on out of body experiences with odd liquid substances?"

Mazilyn beams at Crobin!

Vythlak squints at you.

Vythlak gazes at Crobin.

Avrenka

Avrenka clears his throat.

Ezathiel chuckles.

Ectheleon shakes his head at Vythlak.

Karthor chuckles.

Avrenka says, "Ahem."

Gragnel says to Crobin, "So, just to be clear, you gave me permission to talk to people. No take-backsies."

Crobin says, "Deal."

Ezathiel gazes at Avrenka.

Avrenka says, "When Unaka mentioned there's something more we could do than just praying to Truffie, it got me thinking."

Ildewyn nods amiably at Avrenka.

Leayne smiles at Avrenka, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Gragnel observes Avrenka with fascination.

Avrenka says, "So I poured over my notes on all the things Unaka has talked about since I've met her, searching for this "greater thing" we could do for Truffie."

Seihjin asks Avrenka, "Burn your hand off?"

Vythlak gazes at Avrenka.

Avrenka shakes his head at Seihjin.

Unaka's halo continues to glow with a blinding light, the hum growing louder.

Avrenka says, "There was one major theme I was able to identify: the growth and union of civilizations."

Vythlak blinks.

Ryeka observes Unaka with fascination.

Avrenka says, "I don't think I could say it better than Unaka did, so I'll just quote her: "Civilization... it is the transformation of a people from many individuals into one great system, working together. Using tools to elevate themselves into something more"."

Gragnel nods to Avrenka.

Avrenka says, "Perhaps it is just not our prayers that Truffie desires, but a unified voice. Maybe that is why Unaka asks for a consensus with each decision."

Ghust quietly says, "Ow....it was a nice hum before but now its gettin a little louder."

Leilanie ponders.

Ghust covers his ears with his hands.

Unaka says to Ghust, "Sorry."

Avrenka says, "Ritual spell patterns use power several times larger than what is normally possible. Mayhap we should start praying in circles, with our hearts unified as one."

Ghust blushes a bright red color.

Avrenka says, "That is all."

Avrenka bows.

Crobin nods to Avrenka.

Unaka smiles at Avrenka.

Ghust quietly says to Unaka, "Err sorry. Ah got really good hearin."

Aerilia praises Avrenka.

Hodierna and Truffenyi Vision

A golden glow erupts from Unaka's halo, and your vision is overtaken by a blinding flash! When the haze dissipates, you see a stream of visions of the blossoming of civilization, centered on the tending of healers. You see babes brought into the world, squalling and red, then delivered into the elated arms of their mothers. You see the wounded and the sick, sometimes visiting a tent or cottage, other times clinging to the outskirts of cities, healers moving quietly among them, plying herbs or lending a gentle touch. A tall man stands in the background, frowning, traces of worry evident in the squint of his eyes. A woman moves to stand beside him, giving his arm a light squeeze, and you can see his tension ease.

Vythlak ponders.

Gragnel rubs his right eye.

Gragnel rubs his left eye.

Crobin says, "Well...that just happened."

Unaka says to Avrenka, "Sorry, it does that sometimes. It was a good point, I thought."

Aerilia quietly says, "How lovely."

You say, "I would like to thank all of our speakers tonight."

Ryeka nods in agreement.

Avrenka bows to Unaka.

Karthor says to Crobin, "True story."

Gragnel exclaims, "The Immortals are real! They are with us!"

Vythlak nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.

Gragnel gazes upward.

Gragnel lightly touches his panther pin as he says a quick prayer.

Crobin chuckles at Karthor.

Ezathiel grins.

Vythlak dreamily murmurs a brief prayer to himself.

Crobin glances outside a moment.

Ghust quietly says, "Wow....neat vision. As an empath, it was especially beatiful."

Ezathiel bows his head in acknowledgement.

Unaka asks you, "Thought I was one of the speakers?"

Ryeka sighs and says a soft prayer to herself.

Leayne nods to Ghust.

Mazilyn beams at Unaka!

Mazilyn bounces around happily.

Unaka says, "Well, I wasn't planning on saying anything, but I was inspired by some of the speakers. Particularly Zynell when she was talking about the diversity of faith."

Lorenia glances at Unaka.

(Crobin laces his fingers with Leayne's and holds her hand gently)

Gragnel nods.

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Leayne smiles at Unaka, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Crobin says, "Long as the steps are up this way...I was very tired."

Crobin nods to Gragnel.

Gragnel laughs at Crobin.

Unaka says, "She is right. There are many ways to worship, and thirty nine great Immortals to follow. We each have our own ways, and we each follow different ones, for different reasons."

Unaka says, "Yet, as Gragnel said, we must pay attention to all of them."

You nod in agreement.

Gragnel gives a slight nod.

Gragnel says, "It's foolish not to."

Gragnel drinks a portion of some sacramental wine.

Ryeka nods in agreement.

Vythlak mutters something into the air about clerics of Damaris.

Unaka says, "I was just thinking that, though I wouldn't ask anyone to give up a favored Immortal, it's probably also important to consider the diversity of times that we find ourselves in."

You grin at Vythlak.

Vythlak mutters something into the air about clerics of Damaris Phelim Truffenyi Hodierna and being side by side.

Ghust ponders.

Unaka says, "Sometimes it's just the right time to pay attention to a particular Immortal."

Mazilyn nods emphatically.

Mazilyn gets a miniature Truffenyi doll dressed in silvery blue robes from inside her pristine white purse.

Unaka says, "And personally, I don't think that takes anything away from our worship of a primary Immortal at other times."

Mazilyn holds a miniature Truffenyi doll dressed in silvery blue robes high into the air for all to see.

Unaka smiles at Mazilyn.

Vythlak grins at Mazilyn.

Ezathiel ponders.

Ryeka says, "While Damaris has specially chosen me to His service, I do indeed perform tasks for the others at times. Damaris doesn't object, or hasn't."

Unaka says, "Anyway, just some food for thought."

Ryeka nods to Unaka.

You nod to Unaka.

Ezathiel praises Unaka.

Aerilia smiles at Unaka.

Ectheleon smiles at Unaka.

Gragnel says, "And that is something to chew on for sure."

Gragnel nods to Unaka.

Ildewyn nods to Unaka.

Relay nods to Unaka.

Relay says, "Well said."

Gragnel says, "Just please, so soup and juice talk."

Crobin nods to Ectheleon.

Vythlak ponders.

Aerilia nods to Unaka.

You say, "We only have a couple more roisaen left officially on this meeting, so i would like to again thank everyone for joining us and sharing."

Hodierna Vision

A golden glow erupts from Unaka's halo, and your vision is overtaken by a blinding flash! When the haze dissipates, you find yourself viewing a battlefield, the ground torn, wounded lying thick across the field. You spot a majestic unicorn stepping carefully, until it finally reaches a clearing. Where its horn touches the earth, a large, stalky stem emerges, dozens of tendrils wrapped about it, a rainbow of colorful flowers blooming around a translucent golden heart. It grows and grows, towering beyond a bush, then a tree, then seems almost to become a mountain pushing its way into the sky. You lose track of the unicorn as one of the tendrils of the plant reaches for you, encircling your ankle with a cool tingle, and you become vaguely aware of the other tendrils questing for the many bodies lying on the field. The vision fades.

Gragnel says to Ectheleon, "Just tell the whole of Elanthia why don't you? Sheesh."

Aerilia blinks.

Unaka takes a deep breath.

Ryeka blinks.

Ectheleon chuckles at Gragnel.

A nightingale sings from somewhere nearby.

Roelan tilts his head down.

Gragnel says to Vythlak, "Already gone, friend."

Gragnel smirks at Vythlak.

Vythlak laughs at Gragnel.

Aerilia nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

You smile.

You say, "For my fellow Damaris followers, i have a specifc ask that we meet shortly in the Dark Grove. While anyone is welcome to join us, it will be specifically focused."

Aerilia says, "That was a vela'tohr plant, if I'm not mistaken."

Mazilyn asks Unaka, "Did you get my letter?"

Unaka says, "Also, I wanna thank those who spoke about their own lives and experiences today."

Mistanna nods to Aerilia.

Ryeka nods to Aerilia.

Karthor says, "Sure seemed to bear some resemblance, at the very least."

Vythlak nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.

Unaka says, "I had a realization when you did that."

Ectheleon blushes, the tips of his ears turning a deep shade of red.

Crobin shakes Unaka's hand.

Ezathiel softly says, "Probably the first one to every exist."

Roelan nods politely to Unaka.

Vythlak gazes at Unaka.

Aerilia nods to Ezathiel.

Lenko nods to you.

Vythlak pats Ectheleon on the back.

Unaka says to Mazilyn, "Oh no, sorry, not yet. I'll have to check."

Gragnel says to you, "Of course. Lead the way to Him and I shall ever follow the same path."

Gragnel nods.

Mazilyn nods to Unaka.

Gragnel lightly touches his panther pin as he says a quick prayer.

Aerilia says to Ezathiel, "It certainly felt significant, in any case."

Vythlak asks Unaka, "What was the realization?"

Ezathiel nods to Aerilia.

Crobin nods to Leayne.

Unaka says, "I realized more deeply just how important it is that we are all connected in society. We are all different, yet each piece vital to the whole."

Crobin says, "Thank you for coming Unaka."

Leayne nods to Unaka.

Crobin says, "Good tos ee you again."

Unaka says, "Something about that... felt right. It felt good to hear your stories."

Ghust bows to Unaka.

Vythlak nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.

Crobin says, "Hope we get to fight together soon."

Ghust nods in agreement.

>nod unaagre

You nod.

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Unaka nods.

You nod at Unaka, in complete agreement with her views.

Gragnel says, "All are welcome in the arms of the Immortals if the but give themselves unto them."

Ghust quietly says to Unaka, "Its always good ta see ya. You really are nice ta talk to."

Ildewyn says, "An' Kertigen."

Vythlak says, "Stories living, weaving together, drifting apart, weaving to other things."

Ildewyn nods.

Unaka smiles at Ghust.

Roelan says to Unaka, "Hodierna watch over you."

Mazilyn nods emphatically.

Ryeka looks at Unaka and blushes.

Unaka nods to Roelan.

Crobin says, "I am the child of Truffenyi that is in time out a lot."

Mazilyn gives her Truffenyi doll a little hug. Did the doll give her a little hug back?

Karthor says, "Tree in the tree. That also feels right."

Roelan nods to Unaka.

Karthor nods to an azure fig tree.

Avrenka says to Unaka, "Good to see you."

Crobin says, "That is where I met Damaris."

Unaka grins at Crobin.

Ghust quietly says, "Ah know ah follow Meraud always have always will."

You hold out a hand towards Crobin for a highfive.

Crobin raises his hand and highfives you!

Unaka asks Crobin, "There's a special message Truffenyi has for those children. You wanna hear it?"

Gragnel smirks at Crobin.

Ectheleon exclaims, "Thank you for sharing, listening, and being here everyone. I hope you all the very best!"

Crobin says, "I do."

Ildewyn nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.

Crobin smiles at Unaka.

Unaka hugs Crobin, who wraps his arms around Unaka with a warm smile.

Gragnel beams at Unaka!

Leayne softly says, "I follow Hodierna."

Crobin chuckles.

Avrenka smiles.

Gragnel asks Crobin, "Seriously, the best hugs. Right?"

Crobin hugs Unaka, getting a smile in return.

Unaka says to Crobin, "He loves you."

Ezathiel grins at Unaka.

Vythlak nods to Ectheleon.

Crobin says, "Well that is nice of him, we love him as well."

Vythlak begins to dance, his eyes tightly shut and his head thrown back.

Roelan smiles at Leayne.

Mazilyn nods at Crobin, obviously agreeing with his views.

Ryeka smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

Leayne nods to Roelan.

Roelan says to Leayne, "May Hodierna guide your way."

You say, "Alright, gate to crossing coming."

Leayne nods to Roelan.

Unaka says to Mazilyn, "I'll be sure to read your letter."

Ryeka begins to dance, her eyes tightly shut and her head thrown back.

Ectheleon exclaims, "Sorcery Class!!"

Gragnel asks you, "Which Immortal was next? Urrem'tier?"

You say, "Those of you who wish to join us for a Damaris gathering please join me."

Ryeka chuckles.

Gragnel glances at Relay.

Vythlak nods to Unaka.

You say, "Aye."

Aerilia ponders.

A fierce blue-white glare forces you to avert your eyes for a moment. When it subsides, a blue Moongate stands before you, rippling slightly.

As you cross the Moongate's threshold you are drawn through to the other side...

[The Crossing, Magen Road]

The whitewashed building before you is stark and functional. A sign mounted on it is hand painted and carved with cunning skill. White-robed figures and all manner of injured and infirm people stream in and out of a double door, leaving thin trails of blood on the spotless pavement. You also see a blue Moongate, a stone urn and a wide arch.

"Burn her! Burn her!" You hear the cries echo around you as everyone in the vicinity suddenly moves away, giving you a wide berth! It goes without saying you'll be wanted for forbidden practices in Crossing now.

"Stop right there!" The shout reverberates through the area as the guard charges towards you. "You're under arrest!"

Before you really realize what's going on, your hands are firmly bound behind you and you are marched off.

The guard brings you to the jail, where several companions aid to hold you down and strip you of all your possessions. They are placed in a sack under the watchful eye of the jail warden, and then you are ushered to a cell, the door opened just long enough for you to be shoved inside.

[Guard House, Jail Cell]

From the stench here, it is apparent that the guards have little interest in coddling criminals. Mounds of musty-smelling hay have been pushed up along the walls, though it is impossible to imagine sleep as a viable possibility here. You also see a pile of dust bunnies, a pile of dust bunnies, a pile of dust bunnies, a pile of dust bunnies, a pile of roots, a pile of pig roots, a heavily barred door, a barred window and a mound of smelly hay.

Given the attention you're getting you decide this would be a good time to stop your lecture.

The cell door opens, and an armored guard enters, pointing a finger at you. "Come along, Prydaen, it's time to face the judge."

You are quickly escorted out, and the door closed behind you.

[Guard House, Chamber of Justice]

A chill races through your spine as you stare up at the platform from which justice is so mercilessly dispensed by the local magistrate. A few low benches stretch out along the western wall, where a heavily-armed guard oversees visitors and defendants alike with a stern, watchful eye.

The judge gazes down at you with stern eyes, "Zynell, you stand before this court accused of forbidden practices. Though the evidence against you is considerable, final judgement has not yet been reached. How do you plead?"

You raise your voice and firmly declare your intent to prove your innocence!

The judge nods solemnly, "You shall be given a chance to present your arguments in your defense, then."

Doing your best to muster the entirety of your eloquence, you argue the case that you should be found innocent of the crimes before you today. The judge listens intently, comparing what you say with notes upon his desk, and when you finish your summation, you can only hope that he was adequately moved.

After a long deliberation, the judge finally says, "Zynell, this court finds you innocent of the charges brought upon you. You are free to go. Guards, please return this woman's things."

The guard releases you, and somewhat reluctantly hands you a sack containing your things. You are shunted to a small area in the corner where you redress in relative privacy.
